We can only hope this ridiculous fascination with Torres will end and we will bolster the squad a bit in January. We'd all love Falcao, but he is very expensive and not sure if its possible in Jan. I don't care who we get at this stage, as long as we at least get some options

Fact is, if we had City or United's striking options we'd be top of the league by a mile, and sitting comfortably in the CL group stages. I think that tells you everything you need to know about our strike options, and Torres in particular.

Spot on mate. I think that its the lack of goals that have got the last 3 managers the sack. The last time we won the league we had a number of strikers and they were all banging in the goals. Since Torres joined Carlo, AVB and Robbie have all been sacked and they were all sacked shortly after dropping Torres i read the other week.

I would admire Romans loyalty but he is giving his loyalty to the wrong people. It should be to the managers not the new players. The likes of Frank and John deserve loyalty because they are Chelsea, they bleed blue but Torres doesnt give a f**k about the team, the club or the fans. Here for the money he is only here for the money! Here for the mooonnnneeeyyyyy! But then again maybe i am mistaking Loyalty with Roman trying to save face. Splashing out 50 million and breaking the english transfer record is a big deal so im sure Roman will do everything he possibly can to save face and make Torres look like a good investment when we can all see that he isnt.
