Supporter unrest

Hey guys, hope y'all are cool.

Just wanted to know whether fans who held the banners that were seen at your home game were reprimanded or banned?

Reason I ask is becuase as you may or may not have heard Arsenal fans are becoming increasingly disgruntled with the mamangement of the club. Many on internet forums are talking of the Black Scarf Movement although, those protests and marches have taken place largely outside Cashburton Grove.

I think Gooners should take their lead from Chelsea's fans be show their disgust INSIDE the ground. I don't think simply booing is enough.

Thing is I believe there's a reluctance to show your level of anger in the ground due to fear of ejection.

So I'd just like to know whether your stewards are responsible for singling out the protesters and penalising them, if at all there were penalised.

Much obliged chaps (and chapesses).

Can they eject you just for having an opinion if it's not an illegal opinion?  I think you're safe with peaceful protests inside the ground, the club would be damaged if it started ejecting people just for voicing a reasonable opinion.

That said, if someone came round my house and started shouting at me to leave, I'd be a bit narked!

Hi Charlie, I think that while your situation is very different to ours in most respects, it also comes down to the same thing, Can we run the club in a manner that is respectful but successful!

The only protest that the owners/boards will pay attention to is to vote with your wallets and not turn up to games, or buy merchandise from them!

They would soon have a change of heart then!

Ive been at two of the three games and not seen anyone kicked out. If you do it inside the ground it will get into the media more and the protest has more of an effect then. Dont agree with booing the team (in our case though)

I think freedom of speech is still every mans right at the bridge although the club is being owned by a russian. Putin would "kick you out" but...I agree with previous comments that doing it inside with all the cameras gives you more leverage. Everyone was informed at that City game. I suggest you do the same.
