Animated Gif not working in avatar?

Featured Replies

I've just tried to change my avatar to an animated gif image but it doesn't play, it's just like a normal image. I've seen other people's work but mine won't for some reason. Anyone know why?

Make sure the GIF is not larger than 130 pixels wide. The height of the image should be fine as it is but the width should be re-sized to 130 pixels or less. There are loads of free programs/sites online that will allow you to do so.

I had the same issue and Zola (a member here, not Gianfranco  ) was nice enough to help me get it sorted.
