Winchester City have reached the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Trophy for the very first time, and they're reward is a home tie against Dulwich Hamlet. @Peckham Blue

Great draw for Dulwich Hamlet, about time there was a new ground in a decent place to go to.  See you there, I'll buy you a pint.

Any pub recommendations for the travelling pissheads??

The King Alfred and the Mucky Duck, and the Albion are all on the route from the station to the ground.

I don't drink, but thanks for the offer. I'm fine with a can of coke.

Great goal on Saturday against Worthing in front of over 2000.  Many fans are really looking forward to Wichester City this weekend.

Enjoyed the game on Saturday; despite the result, City, I feel, matched Hamlet all the way and were unlucky not to get an equaliser. Certainly watched in much better spirit than previous cup ties, which have seen pitch invasions (Mangotsfield, Maidenhead), the visitors vandalising the away dressing room (Maidenhead), a visiting fan turning up drunk and getting chucked out after taking umbrage at not being served (Weymouth), and one-song bellends (Sholing, who, as their fans sang throughout the match, are from Sholing).

After a great second half performance away to Conference South Whitehawk and a 4-1 win, Dulwich Hamlet are away to Braintree Town in the last 16.  A couple of hundred went to  Whitehawk with similar numbers if not more going to Essex with two coaches already booked.  Railway works have been a f**king pain this season for trips to Essex and Suffolk and this match is no exception.

Dulwich Hamlet are into the quarter finals for the first time since 1980.  0-0 at Braintree Town away after having some good chances including hitting the woodwork, three coach loads went plus cars, etc - Braintree stated 231 away fans but a head count gave 350+, remember the gate receipts are split 50/50!  Anyway Dulwich Hamlet smashed them off the park 5-2 in the replay on Tuesday and now face ex-League Macclesfield at home in the QF.  Unfortunately there's a price to pay for being London's trendiest Non-League club drawing in a few tits who think it's cool to chuck beer cans/water bottles onto the pitch (Braintree home and away) as well as getting on it (Ryston & Whitehawk) and letting off smoke bombs (Whitehawk).  I can live with celebratory pitch encroachments for player hugging after a goal and TBH a smoke bomb is great to see but it's the third time the club has been reported for pyros despite appeals to cut it out.

Great times though, away to league leaders Bognor Regis Town at the weekend and another expected big away following.

Drew 1-1 with Bognor and then beat title chasing Needham Market 2-0 on Saturday in front of just under 2,000.

1200 tickets already sold for the Macclesfield match, looks like it'll be close to sell out 3,000.

Yeah been there loved it.

Replay tomorrow night at Macclesfield after Dulwich Came back from 2-0 down with an 87th minute equaliser in front of 2,800.  Two coaches already booked but with one eye on the weather.

Knocked out in the replay 2-0 so no semi final v Tranmere.  A couple of coaches went up there, we had a great day out despite traffic problems on the way around Oxford which curtailed the amount of drinking time.  No late trains home prevented more travelling but the supporters gave a great account of themselves winning many new friends.

Going to watch my non-league side Welling United this afternoon. It's a few months since I've seen them play. A few weeks back they were in the relegation zone of National League South but have improved recently and should now be safe. Before the game will pop into the micro-pub near the ground for a couple of pints of fine ale.

Went to see Bromley v Barrow today, with the home side winning 4-1. Have to say Bromley were excellent and looked the brighter side from the start. Barrows play off hopes surely finished after today. Bromley are up to 10th and on course for the highest league finish in their history.

Going to see my local non-league team, Welling United, this season. Playing Charlton Athletic. The teams have played each other in a pre-season friendly for years. Practice for the two teams an brings in money for Welling United. Near the ground is a fine micro-pub so a couple of pints in there before the game.

Sometimes i go and watch my local team, Daisy Hill. They have been in the same division for years. Nothing ever changes for them. So i do not really know why i bother. Maybe i should nip along to see Atherton Colls. They are doing well. I used to be into non-league and the Scottish League quite a lot. Now i suppose i have replaced it with following both codes of Rugby more.
