I am currently doing work experience and have been asked to find out strange facts about English clubs. 

 

These facts could include:

 

Sunderland not winning a match on a Monday for 12 years

or Crystal Palace having an unbeatable record on a Tuesday at home for 5 seasons 

 

If you have any other data about Chelsea which fits along these lines it would be much appreciated

If you have Twitter, I'd strongly suggest adding @OptaJoe. Basically just a Twitter account that looks for all of these random football facts - the kind you'll hear the BBC and Sky use in the build up to their live broadcasts. The majority of the tweets are about games taking place round about the time they're posted, but if you use the search feature you should be able to find a good few historic gems. There's probably hundreds on Chelsea alone and countless more on other English teams.

If you're doing work experience i'd stay away from Ashley.

You can add the bit about Guardiola retiring as a player, getting a job as a manager, winning everything, taking a year out and landing a job with Bayern. All since Arse last won a trophy.
