How old was he at the time? He's only 19 now. If this happened when both of them were 15 or so, I don't see the big deal. If on the other hand he was 19 and she was 13....

I also caution against jumping to conclusions based on accusations. I don't know what really happened with Ched Evans (only two people do), but the fact that he had his conviction overturned should be a strong reminder to presume innocence until the evidence overwhelmingly suggests otherwise.

Mr Tuohy has been charged with two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, three counts of inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity and meeting a girl under 16 following grooming.

 

?Your innocent until proven guilty, and if your rich enough to engage top top class brief, your twice as likely to have more than luck on your side.

 

He was arrested in October.
