For real, that's a pitch they make to kids and their families. Our academy is aces.
I'd like to keep Hall but not because it's going to hurt our academy rep if we sell him and he becomes a good player and makes a ton of money.

Same. I was always worried when we played them because of him, not any of their players, him alone. Not sure he's going to take us to elite but I don't think we've ever been elite and he can certainly be one of the most successful managers we've ever had imo. He took Spurs to a 2nd place finish and f**kin CL final for god's sake.

I'll be happy to eat my words but I've been on the Porch train since he was sacked at PSG. The man turned Spurs into a contender, with a competent club behind him he's going to win trophies. I haven't been this optimistic since Jose returned.

It's only a mistake in hindsight. Puli got into two great scoring positions, which is what Tuchel can control, he just didn't convert. When he took Timo off we were ahead and defending comfortably, I think he made the change to be more dangerous on the counter. It may have worked if Puli was able to play Havertz in before that cynical foul from Camavinga or had he converted one of those two chance.

this is so true, they think that if they keep on repeating how big they used to be it will bring them back there 

Hate to rain on a parade but when we sack managers around this time we win Champions Leagues or at least make it to the final. Goodbye Thomas?

Wasn't quite 10 years ago but I've had the same experience with my mates. I told them we would be set up with fantastic young players from our academy. There was so much talent pumping through our youth teams. 

Two decades ago someone did a fantastic job behind the scenes with our academy set up and they will never get the headlines for it. I still don't see the media showing the love for this generation of academy players that have actually won things, unlike what happened a few seasons ago with Spurs.

I think he'd be wasted further forward given our attacking options right now. He would be/is an excellent RWB and given how important fullbacks are right now he's in a prime position to be dominant there. Reece should be the England RB at this rate.
