Deserves his own topic 

 

I didn't know much about him before last night. Feels good to have another young prospect doing well, especially in a position where his abilities are very welcome. He's a CM/LB, right? That's ideal.

Really impressed with him last night, just a shame we got drawn away to City straight away in the cup as I would like to see more of him this season.

There's our backup to Chilwell.

Now watch him immediately get sent back to the youth team.

He should have been playing last season, ridiculous that he didnt get hardly any time. Hopefully the way he played last night gets him a chance.

Did well going forward, but was bad defensively. Was out of position a lot and struggled when they attacked down our left.

Absolute breath of fresh air, looked super quality on the ball, our version of Foden, couple of good games, they’ll be clamouring to get him in the future senior England squads…

So good to see and one of the few positives to come out of last night.

Shame he's not right footed.  Would have been perfect cover for Reece....

Lewis Hall would fit right in tbf.

A CM playing LWB! Just more frustration added to a never ending list. 

In all seriousness though this Felix lad was at the facilities today during training and saw Hall's name in the first team locker room.

I know you said it in jest but I'm really not against that with the right profile of player (which Hall in my opinion is).

As we unfortunently found out against Arsenal (with Zinchenko) a fullback who drifts into midfield can be a massive tactical advantage these days.

Did fairly well in midfield. 

 

Lad is our own Zinchenko. Can play LB and CM pretty well. 

Could make LB his own if Potter utilizes him correctly. Could shift into midfield when we are in the build up and defensive transition phase.

Yeah this guy has taken his chance. Too many of our youth players are "grass is greener" type players. We think they will be better than they are but when they come on don't really show it. Hall has shown me he deserves a run. Especially in a team that is reliant on full backs who know what they are doing in the final 3rd.

While I agree he deserves a run in the side that's been by far his weakness so far.

He's had three golden opportunities against City alone and fluffed them.

He looks okay going forward, yet to be really challenged defensively, so hard to say how he fairs there. Let's not get carried away too soon.
