Might sound odd but most my memories of Arsenal are us absolutely turning them over throughout the 00’s & 10’s. They used to play some ‘nice’ football, had that nice new stadium, never really a threat to us in any way shape or form.
Now I find them eye wateringly boring and the beginning of the end for the PL but that’s just recent and recent isn’t really a rivalry.
Their fans on the other hand, they’re borderline Scousers with their insufferable ness. If they aren’t harking on about ‘ThE iNvInCiBlEs’ (They didn’t win the most, score the most, concede the least, get the most points, they were draw merchants) then they’re being cringe 40 somethings using words like ‘Bruv & Fam’ unironically in head to toe Club Shop gear.

I can picture it already: Late deadline day bid to sign whoever plays in midfield at Strasbourg. "Here we go" announced by all the Twitter crew, only for Winstanley to pull out of the deal in the dying seconds 😂

Yeah they 30mill or so currently put out is not including add ons like the 15mill in the Jackson deal, 5mill in Delap deal, loan fees or Garnachos possible permanent move to villa.
It is based on what we have paid clubs, not including add ons in those deals, and what we have currently recieved.

Sure, but we will not get much more than a few million in compensation, at the very best. It almost wouldn't be worth the legal fees. It would be different if Camara himself objected to Monaco's decision, or believes he was inconvenienced, then FIFA might consider sporting sanctions as there would be a contractual stability issue.

Hopefully CAS rules that the breach is so severe that Monaco must not just refund us for Laurence Stewart, Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile, but actually have to take them back as well as penance.

When I say done over by City I mean this transfer has been on the cards for months and they chose the very last day of the transfer window to make an offer. That stopped us really going after Scott, Wharton or any other replacement.
They even paid £5m more than they needed to just to screw us rather than wrap this up 2 weeks ago.
It was by design to screw us up and leave us with as little time as possible to get in a replacement.
Ultimately we've only got ourselves to blame by leaving it so late and giving power to City and Monoco in these deals.

Apparently any deal can't be resurrected because Monoco refused to sign the Deal Sheet.

Useless w**kers. They have completely f**ked us on the last day. They have had MONTHS to sort out the midfield, MONTHS! I said back in June that they were too slow and should have been getting things done quickly after our finish last season, but they moved at a snails pace as usual and wasted time trying to sign players like Xhaka on the cheap.
They were played by City, they left it to the last day on purpose to weaken us and leave us scrambling to find a replacement, and these stupid twats fell right into the trap. They got completely outsmarted with that deadline bullsh*t, City called their bluff. Any competent ownership would have stuck to that deadline, but these clowns thought they were the smart ones. I said the other day it was too late to sell him, I knew these twats were too incompetent to sort the midfield out in time, so I'm not shocked at all, I'm just angry. We can point the fingers all we like at Monaco for cancelling the Camara deal at the last second, but this is on BlueCo, you can't bank on things working out in the dying hours. It's too risky.
I also think they were bullsh*tting about wanting two midfielders, they couldn't afford it so put out their sh*tty little briefs to make it seem like they could. They couldn't do sh*t until Enzo was sold, but couldn't be sure how serious City were about Enzo because they delayed. They played games and they lost, making themselves out to be fools in the transfer market again, just as they were made to look like fools by Barcelona when they tried to sign Raphinha and Kounde.
They've f**ked Alonso over big time now and all we have to hope for is that he is some miracle manager because he now has no midfield to work with until January, minimum. Forget about any hope of pushing Arsenal in the title race, it was never really on anyway, but any hope you did have is gone now. Top 4 is the best we can hope for now and even that is going to be a huge ask without a midfield. An absolute sh*tshow.

Let’s hope Monaco get a knock on the door from UEFA regarding PSR. Might even get Camera at a discount in January

The agreement was by email, then they refused to sign the contract and sold Balagun to Everton instead.
What a horrible club.
I hope the Everton deal falls through then they have money worries and ultimately get relegated in the near future!

We apparently have a very good relationship with Palace so unfortunately it might be just be more attached to the Lacroix deal,
