October 25, 201510 yr Author Red card was deserved. Fabregas was offside. Don't think the entire ball crossed the line, but it's hard to say even with replays. No excuses for another sh*t performance Agreed, people saying he was offside via a knee and that we should have been given benefit of the doubt or that no way the linesman could have seen etc need to get a grip. It was a correct offside call. There is no excuses other than we haven't been good enough same as all the defeats this season.
October 25, 201510 yr I found two, it depends on how and when you think the ball was played. First one: And the second: Edit: How about this one? Took the first one from the West Ham thread Edited October 25, 201510 yr by Zinc
October 25, 201510 yr The first one shows it's onside and on the second the red line doesn't seem to be parallel to the box plus I think it was taken after the pass. So no decisive images. I really believe that as the attacked should get the benefit of the doubt it should have been a goal. However this isn't the reason why we lost.
October 25, 201510 yr I think a lot of the crises that happen in games could be managed much better. Would like premiership managers to be allowed to question ref's decisions once a game, and review video footage, in an uncertain situation, obviously the ref calls the shots. Also would like a sin bin for when emotions run high, and rather than sending off a player allowing them to cool down for 10 mins. Mez
November 10, 201510 yr We just got charged (again) with West Ham for misconduct. I honestly don't understand why we've been constantly hit with a higher fine (than the other team) in recent times. Bloody hell. From the FA site: Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, West Ham United and Chelsea have been fined £40,000 and £50,000 respectively after both clubs admitted an FA misconduct charge. The charge was for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the fixture between the two sides on 24 October 2015. Both clubs were also severely warned as to their future conduct.
