We might need an even number of us if we're to play against each other (maybe eight?), although actually picking the teams is far and away the best part anyway.

What range of players do people want to use? Personally I'm a fan of trying out a current active players draft; have we ever done that? That said, that would mean if someone was to pick Lampard or Pirlo (for example) it would be the old duffer MLS versions rather than the shiny golden God of their primes.

It's up to you but that could work, we've only done an all-time one, a post-90s one and I think a Premier League draft.

I'd be happy with any format really, it would be good to have a general consensus though.

 

I think we did an all-time Chelsea players one as well at one point, although all I really remember from that is picking Belletti.

We can probably start when we get to eight, although if I remember right more people tend to jump on board once we get started.

I like the current player criteria although then it becomes a bit of a lottery as to who picks 1st and 2nd. I've seen drafts where they leave those 2 players out entirely, should we do something like that?

How about the #8 team can be a team selected by random members, whoever is about to select the players when its their turn ? But none of us other 7 can select for this team.

Also make a rule, when it's your turn, you have 12 hours max to select your player, or you will miss a turn and have to pick two players next time round, repeat if they miss again.

I like the second rule to keep the game flowing.

 

I also think the first rule sounds hilarious and might make for an interesting side. It might lead someone to jump on it as well.
