He is not getting any younger, he's 22 and for him to develop into the type of midfielder many people hope he becomes, he is going to need lots of minutes on the pitch.

He's a good homegrown back up and cup midfielder, if he is happy being that than he should stay, if he wants first team football than he should be sold, not fussed about a buy back clause doesn't look like a future first team starter but looks like he would be a very dependable squad player (ala Mikel) if he wants to be

I would love him to get more game time and develop in to a starter, but it probably won't happen. I wouldn't want us to deny him first team football, if he desires it I think we should allow him to leave, a buy back clause wouldn't be a bad idea. Some players are late developers and it's possible he'll turn in to a great midfielder, just as long as a dodgy agent doesn't lure him in to signing for Liverpool like Solanke, I'd wish him the best.

I see no reason he can't be as good or better than Matic was last season if he gets plenty of minutes sonewhere. Unless thats here next season it's best for him to be sold and best for us to have a buy back clause
