Posted April 9, 200717 yr I dumped my Sky sports last season because of their customer service was appauling . So decided i'll make do with MOTD highlights and live F.A. Cup games . Now i find out the Blackburn game is not live on BBC 1 .But of course the United game is . Again.....B******S.
April 9, 200717 yr Finnish Broadcasting Company(YLE) decided to show the Manc game too. Although, I think their game of choice depends on what match BYOBBC chooses to show. YLE will show our match against Valencia tomorrow, though.

April 9, 200717 yr Here in the UK, it's been a similar story all the way through the Champions League. TalkSport radio followed Liverpool all the way through, when they were playing the same time as us, and now that we're playing the same nights as the Mancs, they've shifted to covering the Mancs. Which is fine except that Radio effing 5 have mostly been doing the same thing. Not a problem when we've been one of the matched covered by ITV, but when our matches are on Sky (which I haven't got), it's as frustrating as hell, hoping for half way decent reception and an English commentary on Sopcast, PPMate or whatever.

April 10, 200717 yr Author Setanta showing The Valencia game tomorrow , as they did the first leg but there is a HUGE LOVE IN on Irish TV in general when it comes to Unired , Yes , i said Unired , and Da Bleedin Pool. RTE will only show Chelsea if theres bugger all else on . My only problem with Setanta is Paul Dempsey . His hatred for anything Chelsea is overwhelming . He also has a habit of trying to turn pundits against us with attempts to put words in their mouths . Pat Dolan can be f*****g annoying as hell too, and what's Pakie Bonner doing presenting ?? He's an insufferable bore . A lot of fans here cant seem to get enough of Dunphy , Giles and Brady . Ok , they say it as they see it , no holes barred and beats the sh*t out of listening to Jamie Redknapp [ the worlds worst pundit ] but personally i think they over do it and at the end of the day , when all is said and done , when the sun sets and every other cliche you can think of , Liam Brady is still a c**t.

So, being from Russia I can see English blokes can`t watch their own matches, when all others can see them twice ..... I`m confused.....

And one more what`s the situation with CL matches in your country, how many matches can you see for free and not....? In Russia, from last year, we can see 4 or 5 matches every round free, no matter what round is it(I`ll watch all 4 quarters, today and tomorrow) and paying money you can watch every CL match you want.

April 10, 200717 yr And one more what`s the situation with CL matches in your country, how many matches can you see for free and not....?. Roughly about half. What usually happens is that ITV get to show Tuesday's games - those are free to view - and Sky get Wednesday's. Maybe because Sky didn't want them, but it seems that a far higher percentage of EUFA Cup games involving UK teams were shown on free to view channels, which were shown on Channel 5, ITV and on BBC Scotland in the case of Scottish teams.

FC Zenit is based there, spending a lot of money last time, building a new super stadium, hiring a "great coach" - Dick Advokaat (Though I hate him, cant see something special with him, except demands). When the stadium will be finished (in 2009) it would be worth visiting...... Really beautiful one

I live just outside Stockholm but at the momeny I'm at my summerplace a bit higher up in Sweden. My father was in St.Petersburgh once but I can't remember if he liked the place. I myself have never been there. The only places outside Sweden I've been to is Spain and Estonia. Spain was warm and nice except all the salesmen who wanted me to buy their watches and stuff. Bit annoying when all you wanted to was relax. Estonia was quite nice too but I didn't like going there by boat. Lot's of old buildings and old streets and young prostitutes. Fascinating place.
