It was implied that we were talking about B2B midfielders. Unless you think signing Sigurdsson as a CM is a good idea? Maybe we can just play Hazard as a CM next to Kanté? I mean hes a scoring midfielder

Lets be honest, we are not going to get a better passer of the ball than fabregas or a better dribbler/winger/forward than Hazard.

Disagree, think we could use someone who  has a better range of passing. We are so dependent on Luiz to come up from his CB position to initiate pnay because neither Matic or Kanté has that ability. Doesnt have to be a Cesc level passer, just someone who offers a little more in that area.

I would take that one short coming than playing willian because he is good defensively and can add another body to the mid. (I like willian but he has his limitations).

The player that you would be looking for would be some one of the mould of Verrati or modric or on a lower level Tolliso. But such complete midfielders who have a great passing range along with more than decent defensively are very hard to find. I would rather have 2 DMs like Baka, Kante, Drinkwater, matic doing the dirty and having cesc fall a little deeper and run the play (3-5-2) than conceded ground defensively by playing a defensively not so good CM. But each to his own.

Def agree if we are playing 3-5-2. Im more talking about a 3rd midfielder for the pivot role in a 3-4-3. I think Drinkwater would be a better fit than Nzonzi here. He has at least a bit of a passing range to him. If we play 3-5-2 you are right, I would rather olay Haz or Fab as that extra "midfielder", we currently dont have the wingbacks for 3-5-2 though

I have heard nothing that suggests we're in for him, would he count as homegrown? He shouldn't be as he was trained in France and he was bought by Stoke? However I heard a rumour that allardyce was going to ask him to play for England, so where does he stand?
