Funny you mention Cambridge like that as I remember Oxford during our last venture in the second tier with chaps on the roof, people climbing through garden fences and general mayhem as Chelsea overwhelmed the town.

Thats how we got in wasnt it? I remember first trying to get in their end but me and your brother got picked out as we ''looked too much like Londoners'' ha ha then we walked round to the away end just as a group of Chelsea tried steaming through the old bill to get in. The old bill went after them leaving us to sneak in through the turnstiles. was rammed in there remember ''G'' perched a few feet up the floodlight so he could see. Happy Days :-)

Yes the Police asked my brother to name Oxford's goalkeeper and he decided his cover had been blown.

i remember forgetting my membership one home game and the police asked me for the last 5 results and scorers. I impressed myself by answering with a minute. Got let in. Maybe an old trick they used.

Cambridge 83/84 was funny as the roof of the turnstiles wasn’t very high. Loads got in without tickets or needing to bung the gate man a few quid!! They had those revolving metal things on top of the fences with grease on them to stop people getting in, it didn’t work!!
