Lofty Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 According to Talktrash, Neil Warnock is set to field a weakened side at Old Trafford tonight, which would seem to end even the remotest hopes we/they might have had that Sheffield Utd might take something from the game. The irony is that Warnock has frequenty voiced his annoyance when other clubs field weakened sides in games that effect his clubs league position. Makelele Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 im looking at the Manchester derby for them to drop the points we need them to, i don't expect anything from Sheff Utd
Lofty Posted April 17, 2007 Author Posted April 17, 2007 Predictably enough, the bar stewards are 1-0 up already. I think I'll look for a DVD to watch. Or a book to read. Or bugger off down the pub.
forbzy Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Evra came off injured so United's defence is in a mess. From what I understand they are struggling a little tonight too after a promising start. Come on Sheffield United!
sweet waffle Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Winning 2-0 last time I looked. Sheff Utd's striker Shelton looked a bit of a handful but I think he's operating upfront on his own. I begrudgingly admit that both Manure's goals were good goals in there simplicity, although I think Kenny could have done better on both of them. What annoys me and it's annoyed me all season is the fact that Manure can score these goals that look so effortless and we can't, is it that there just that good? I don't think it is. I think it's down to the fact that teams/defenders will break their necks to try and stop us scoring but against Manure they seem to switch off, why I don't know. Pompey are the recent exception to the rule as were Roma in the first leg, who gave it everything they had and consequently got a positive result. One more thing, it appears that Paul Scholes needs to almost break someones leg before he gets a yellow let alone a red card.
Scott Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 OT bias strike's again, Styles? ignores a dead certain pen against Heinze. Warnock is gonna blow up.
Backbiter Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 It was a scandalous decision. And Sheff U hit the bar.
