Hi there. Joined a couple of months ago but hadn’t got around to introducing myself. Been a Chelsea fan since the mid 80s. not as long as some but long enough to maybe have a bit more perspective than others on our current situation. I have a bit of a gripe with all the negativity I see on here. I think a lot of fans would be a lot happier if they just lowered their expectations a bit. We may never taste the glory of the past couple of decades again, but it’s still possible to enjoy supporting Chelsea. I found the Gullit-Vialli-Zola years the most fun to be a Chelsea fan, probably because there was so much hope and we’d never seen magic of that level before. Obviously the glory years were fantastic, but expectations were already higher. Anyway, that’s me!

I was late 80's and also appreciated the Gullit-Vialli-Zola era too.

Still hope for more silverware yet as long as they give us their best. 

this was the time i was a regular at the bridge, hoddle up to ranieri, a great time and it was awesome  just to get to a cup final !!
