A lad I work with is an Everton season ticket holder. He gets in the ground very early as his wife is ill and needs to take her seat early.

Anyway, he thought we looked like we had technically better players, but that he felt we lack any leadership.

His other observations were that our warm up looked like we were just going through the motions. He says Liverpool for example looked totally focused and very intense in their warmup and their performance matched.

He also said that our support was pretty flat and not it's usual boisterous self and that Pochettino himself looks a bit flat on the touchline.

Funnily enough though, he thinks given two or three seasons it could grow into a decent team. I'll go back and ask him if he meant in the PL or Championship.
