As others have said, there is hardly one player you can currently warm to. No characters, no leaders, no real quality and the majority of them pretty damn unlikeable.

Alonso certainly has his work cut out and he is going to earn every penny to turn us into a half decent side again. I hope he isn't going on holiday and has already started working out who is worth persevering with next season (not too many) and who we can possibly bring in.

It is the cheating that bothers me. The performances are poor, but it's the rolling around on the floor like a grouse shot full of buckshot that irritates me. If they were to lose with dignity perhaps things might seem less egregious.
