Posted May 26, 200718 yr So the season is over. For me it was not a disapointment. Had some great away trips, went to my largest number of games in a season (20 games, which for a Uni student, aint bad), we beat Spurs at the lane, won the Carling and fa cup, got my say into the cfcuk magazine and am part of the Shed's renaissance. Get in! Anyway, it's the weekend and i don't know what to do with myself. What do people like us do in the summer? I've already read the Times, with all it's extras, watched football focus, been on the Chelsea, cfcnet and csr forums and attempted a 5,000 piece puzzle. What i left out was the watching (10 minutes worth. Ok 20) of the grand prix qualifying. The poxy qualifying! That is what i've been reduced too. So what does everyone else do? What is everyone doing now? Mooching around the house, maybe!? Last summer wasn't so bad. We had the World Cup to entertain ourselves with but this year......Nothing. Maybe i need a girlfriend cause i am bored as fcuk!!
May 26, 200718 yr You might have to make small talk with people,on subjects other than football! Get a Girlfriend and dump her before Chelsea play Rangers?? Read a book?? Join the Croydon branch of the Salvation Army?? Come down to Kent?? Plan next season's away games?? Music festival..... Glasto,Reading,Chelmsford?? Im actually really looking forward to the play-off final on Bank Holiday Monday! Why on Bank Holiday weekend is the weather always f**king shocking?? The struggle continues!!
May 26, 200718 yr Author Come down to Kent??Plan next season's away games?? Coming down on monday mate. Talking about next seasons away games, we've got to arrange a few that you, me, Terry and co will go to. (Derby, if they make it, Newcastle, Everton)
June 8, 200718 yr This summer I'm planning on giving Kelly Brook the largest portion of Helmet i've ever dished out , that should kill about 20 seconds Failing that, a few weeks in Mauritius with the MRS should soften the blow . Well the thought of her in a bikini certainly softens something Before i get ruined by all those female blues out there i'm only joking, i mean how can you not love a woman that renews your season tkt for you, then books up a romantic holiday and lets you take you're golf clubs with you
June 8, 200718 yr I drag myself off to work, and run back home at the end of the day. I flop on my couch with a drink to watch the few decent shows that are on offer. I surf the internet, desperate for some Chelsea news, eat something, read a book, go to sleep. Next day, same programme. Count the days til at least the fixtures list comes out and I can plan a trip to the Bridge Not many people understand me Am I really that pathetic? Hell yes!
June 8, 200718 yr My exams are now over, so I just get to lounge around all day, with my mum nagging me to get a job, pass my driving test and cure cancer. So over the next few weeks I'll be heading to a few Uni open days, doing my theory and driving test and basically lounging around watching TV, playing 360, reading etc. Happy days

Wont be watching Golf , Motor racing , reality tv or GAA . Time off i just do bugger all if the weather is good although ive a pile of ironing waiting
June 9, 200718 yr How'd you manage that? promise not to laugh everybody... ...i was playing basketball and i went up for a rebound and on the landing i stepped funny on this other guys shoe and i went right over on my ankle Ouch. I broke my arm in two places while playing football in PE 2 years ago. I was in goal (didnt do that again for a while!) and a guy rounded me, and was about to score. I put the palm of my right hand onto the ground then did a sliding tackle on the guy and i went round and my arm stayed where it was and i just heard a snap and it just sort of gave way. Worst pain ever. The day I got out was when we beat PSG 3-0 so that cheered me up a bit Luckily I got time off school which was a bonus, had to have a metal pin inserted, got two scars on my right arm where it was put in. Anyways, hope the ankle heals ok and you're up jumping around a basketball court in no time. How long does an ankle take to heal once you've broken it?
June 9, 200718 yr Well. This afternoon I watched the 1970 Cup Final replay, and apart from anything it was wonderful watching Billy Bremner getting booted all over the place, Ossie steaming into Jack Charlton, and Tommy Baldwin kicking sh1t out of Norman Hunter. One thing that occurred to me was the hatched job that Motson and Lawrenson might have done had they been commenating - the first shot on target was Mick Jone's opening goal in the 35th minute. And this evening I've been bringing a dead as a doornail PIII 500 back to life. It's a long story this one, so I won't bore you with it. Save to say that I've got at least two more jobs lined up this week on the back of this one kicking the bucket.
June 9, 200718 yr Ill be in this cast for about 4 weeks, then say another 2 weeks after that to be able to walk normally again, then say another week or so to be able to sprint fully, this is my second time breaking this same ankle(first time was while playing footy) so my left foot is pretty much buggered ...thank you Valerie, hmm to cheer me up, do you happen to have a time machine so i can go back and skip the basketball match?
June 10, 200718 yr Well it's been too bleedin' 'ot to do anything much today. I watched Morecambe and Wise in "The Intelligence Men" this afternoon, which is pretty much a perfect film for a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's still hot tonight, but worse it's humid. I'm hoping it'll be a lot cooler in the coming week because I've got all kinds of things to get sorted. Roll on August
June 11, 200718 yr hmm to cheer me up, do you happen to have a time machine so i can go back and skip the basketball match? I'll FedEx my experimental model to you. Send me a message from the past to let me know if it works!
June 11, 200718 yr hmm to cheer me up, do you happen to have a time machine so i can go back and skip the basketball match? I'll FedEx my experimental model to you. Send me a message from the past to let me know if it works! But if it worked and he sent you a message from the past, then shouldn't it have reached you by now? And then wouldn't you already know if it worked or not? The answer should of course be "yes, it worked" since he couldn't have sent you a message from the past if he never got there. Unless of course he can predict the future, in which case he already knew you would send him an experimental model of a time machine and, just to trick you, sent you a message before you told him to do it from the past, in which case you would now have a message saying that the time machine worked even though it didn't. And that....that....would be fun
