Essien to Miss out : (

I may be completely wrong, but it seems like Essien is never fit to play the Scousers, which is all the more frustrating as the sight of him schooling Stevie G would make me a very happy man....

Totally agree.

I was really looking forward to watching Essien face up to the god that is Steven Gerrard.

It seems he misses all our encounters there or is playing out of position!

Such a blow if true but at least it is hopefully a minor injury and we can have him back fairly shortly.

Liverpool fans must be feeling very confident indeed as their midfield is probably as close to the strongest in the premiership outside ours.

A real blow.

On Sky Sports news JM was saying that JT resumes full training tomorrow and that Essien was 50 50 for

the match against Reading. That being the case I would think he should be ok to crunch Stevie Me on

Sunday.

Also Maka and Sheva back in full training.
