Scott
I'm starting to really like John Obi in the Makka role. He's got so much natural talent on the ball, all he needs is more experience which Avi seems to be willing to give him.
ethicalstrategy
I think he showed how good he can be last season. He seemed to be unsettled when Mourinho left and went backwards for a bit. After the Carling Cup final he disappeared for a while but since he has come back he looks to be regaining last seasons form. I like him a lot and thibk he will be a real asset for us over the next few years. He is a very different player from Maka though. Much more comfortable on the ball and a better passer but not as positionally astute.
dkw
we need to remember hes still only a young lad. its ok playing up front or on the wing as a kid as you can get away with mistakes. hes in the middle against some excellent players and has handled himself very well. plus learning of maka must help his game immensely. Mr Chelsea
his improvement has been noticible in recent games, i think he's a better passer of the ball than maka and has a wider range of passing, he needs to learn to time his tackles alittle bit better and he's better in the air than maka (been a good foot or so bigger probably helps hime there) one thing he does have a lot in common with maka is neither of them can shoot for toffees with maka helping, obi will become a great player
