I guess i've missed a few posts since i've been away - me and my babe ( yep in my aviator !) Vegas etc !

I had a bit of Paddy Powers 9/4 for the league ( Dare I say it in the bag ????)

Deco and Robinho eh ?

Plus Bosingwa ??

All top drawer signings - Big Phil the man or what ???

Think we have the class to go all the way in the Champions League and I am going to have a punt there to !

Money to be had this year everyone is the bet HT FT Chelsea Chelsea with the cover DRAW CHELSEA ?

SWP wish him all the best, great bloke, shame about his dad !

Think he will get back in the England team now, he deserves it a great pro.

Bring on the Spuds !!!!

I miss Avram :D

I thought Sheva and Avram (chairman's mates) did rather well.

In all seriousness - I hope the lessons have been learned!!

Star, hope all went well in Vegas but I do have a question: one of the last times you were on here you mentioned that Huntelaar was a dead cert for us in the summer transfer window. I wonder, was that the case only when we were linked with the likes of Hiddink or Rijkaard as manager?

Now we have Scolari, we are still looking for a new striker, perhaps; however, is Huntelaar even a palyer Scolari wuld consider, or is it now odds on that he will be moving to Real?

It all went pearshaped at the Club once the Manager merry go round got into action !

My mate/work colleague at Chelsea was sure Drogba was off and Arneson had arranged to bring Hunteelar as a direct replacement.

Things got very quiet inside the club once Grant's successor was being plannned - Hiddink was probably on the hit list but the signing of Boswingwa made me think and probably the majority that Scolari had got the job. Must confess I had 30 quid matched at 12's on betfair at the time !!

No one got a sniff of Scolari's appointment although I heard we were signing Deco from him, then again not a word about Robinho deal being agreed at last - I guess Roman and Kenyon have rightly closed ranks because there isn't a doubt that if transfers were being discussed by all and sundry at the Bridge prior to Scolari's arrival other business matters were being leaked - ( Paul Smith maybe ;) )

The club have already said it's Robinho and that's it and to be honest that's all we need i'd say.

Saying that I think it was a surprise to everyone at Chelsea Drogba stayed - I was amazed as well after his antics in the CL Final !

Great to have the feel good factor back now with Big Phil sorry Scolari !

I think he and Jose are very different characters actually but what they do have in common is that they have the respect of the players, charisma and they are their own men - so in that way they are indeed similar and lets hope for similar success too.

Grant was too much of a snake in the grass and company man for me to ever get to warm to him unfortunately.

And welcome back Star - ooooh Vegas, always wanted to go there.
