Scott
I was wondering what the effect of losing Stevie would be on the squad, especially the English lads. We they feel alone?

Nope, they have their wallets to keep them company on nights like this
Mr Chelsea
clarke will be missed it wont affect the team though, the players are proffesionals and will just get on with it
TheWestwayWonder
I think the blow of losing Clarke is going to be softened by having a manager like Scolari. True, his english is not the best, but he builds the kind of atmosphere where nationality isnt going to make a difference in how players can connect and unite. I think its early for this to yet be taking hold, but sure its already in the works
Guest
Who knows?.... He could be the best coach in the world, he could be the worst?....... He seems well respected by the fans and of the players, so in that sense he will be missed. But I don't buy into the idea he was necessarily a great coach (or a bad one) merely because he was popular with the fans.
