Gem
After apparantly wanting him (and him wanting to come to us) in the Summer and reportidly only missing out on him because we didn't have a manager (hence why we announced it earlier than we told the Portugal FA we would)... Is he worth going for again in January? He'd be CC cuptied... but not FA... not sure CL (as he's played in the UEFA cup)... he's young, quick, got a good eye for a pass. Maybe a little raw, but this guy has played at the highest level - surely he's worth a bid? Of course, Kenyon has been Kenyon and said no purchases, but if he isn't in Harry's plans, we may get him a bit cheaper. Thoughts? PS- love the board, a bit Hull City with the colours, but I guess we're supporting them this weekend against the Mancs so thats fine with me :D
coco
Not seen enough of him to comment, but I'm pretty sure he wouldnt be cup-tied in the CL even if he has played in the UEFA cup.
Ruh Buh Juh
I thought he was worth a punt in the summer, but against us he was poor, I have to say. He just couldn't get into the game. However, with the coaching of Big Phil, he could turn out brilliant. He'd be a risky buy for anything more than £12 million, IMO. Of he's available for £8/9, go for it, I say! MHedges
Dos Santos is more of an attacking midfielder is he not? We have plenty as is. We need a true striker or winger.

At the moment i feel he is worth a punt, he can't do alot worse than Malouda. I know he hasn't done too badly (well not as bad as last year) this season, but i just don't think he is cut out for the Prem.

The Brit
if he's too sh*t to play for the scum, why should he get remotely close to playing for us?
mad_mac
Lets be real for a minute here. Why go for a player struggling at Spurs and who would not be able to play in all competitions for us? Also, we don't need another attacking mid, and like it or not, we have Kalou and Malouda already. Also, as sad as it makes me to say it, LFS isn't really giving youngsters much of a run so far! So, why push them further down the pecking order by signing in another promising youngster? I think we should push more for the development of our own Di Santo, and slowly make Sinclair and Stoch more regular in our first team Scott
Gem
The Mail adds some fuel to the fire (although their source as usual is pretty much un-named) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ary-window.html
mad_mac
It has also been said that we will have to sell before we sign. So, who would you sell to make place for a spurs reject?
