At the press conference Avram mentioned something about deciding on the state of injured players coming back into the squad after watching them in training.
I think i saw Paulo training with the team in gettyimages gallery, i wonder if Ricky and Malouda are anywhere near return, too. I'd be happy to see Ferreira facing Arsenal on Sunday because he is a better defender than Beletti and may solidify our backline.
Hoping for Carvs to come back by Sunday is probably a pipe dream but with the upcoming hectic holiday schedule we'll need everybody.
Injured players coming back?

Judging by that link Carvalho, Ferreira, Malouda and Bg Pete are all supposed to be back by the weekend. What a huge boost would it be to get our central pairing of RC-JT back before Arse game, fingers crossed.

Back in full training, or back as in match fit...? {SMILIES_PATH}/300.gif

Full training,obviously.
Only after they are assessed by the coaching staff they can be declared match fit.
Still gives you hope we may have some important players back on Sunday.

Judging by this Hleb and Cesc and all of their injured players should be back 16th to.

Today both big Pete and Paulo were out on the field today, so that is good news. I hope that Ricky will be back sooner too, because he is sorely missed

When's Ballack back?
I'm eager to see him given a go under Grant

Well Ballack's in the squad for tonight, and I've just heard that Ricky Carvalho could actually be playing tonight ... nothing's been confirmed yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
