  1. It does seem like an odd one and maybe strange seeing as hes cup tied but I reckon we have to trust Conte. He' s managed to get the most out of underperforming players such as Pedro and Fab, revitalised players we had Q's over like Luiz, Alonso, Moses and Chabolah. Gotta trust that what hes sees in this deal is right. If Llorente comes in on a cheap deal and contract and Bats gets lots of playing time it can only be a good thing. Moreover, I don't see Solanke playing anytime soon until he sorts this contract sh*t out (WHICH IS AS FRUSTRATING AS HELL). little worried about it because our Frontline selection is scary - Costa, Bats, (Llorente potentially), Abraham, Solanke, Brown and Bamford... somethings gonna have to give.
  2. Losing Mata would be a massive blow for Chelsea and i think his loss would significantly reduce our attacking threat in terms of created opportunities (although to be fair we have such a large number of Attacking Midfielders), Mata is world Class and i have to question Mourinho, not for not playing him sometimes, BUT if he does want to sell him. I know we should never question Mourinho but when Adrian Durham from the DailyMail (obviously i realise this is not a extremely credible sources) said that Jose's anti- football we would us the title i was unsure how to react. Of course i want the title but currently all the lovely attacking play we have could disappear and i do sometimes dislike how we seemed to 'shut up' shop against Arsenal and did not threaten really after 60mins - Mata's loss would only make this worse...
  3. Well Rumours are flying about saying Capoue has signed for Tottenham for 11m - can't see Chelsea bringing in DM unless its to replace Mikel.
  4. I think i would agree that Rooney is undoubtedly an extremely talented player but whether his wages and fee are too much has to be taken in to consideration. Also would there be any other realistic option apart from Rooney? Suarez? - i am just assuming but not many Chelsea Fans really like him. Very Talented player but Liverpool will charge a lot for him (probs +40m) and he seems to get banned for the majority of the season. Hernandez? - Very talented as well - young and knows where the goal is and a very proven goal scorer in the Premier League - would be cheaper than the two players above in both Fee and Wages. Also is a very good poacher and would blend well with Lukaku, Torres and Ba as he would cover all specific areas a striker needs. Also has fallen behind in pecking order after Van Persie, potentially Rooney and Welbeck ( think Moyes will use him more due to his preference for young English Talent) Mandzukic - Playing very well at Bayern and is not especially old but due to Bayerns recent success and Bayerns lack of strikers, he will be unlikely to leave Lewandoski - would have orginally set sights on him but seems content with Bayern next season. Falcao & Cavani - YES i know they has justed moved but could become disillusioned with life in French League which is not especially competitive and Cavani will also have to deal with 75% tax which he will not be a fan of Dezko - I reckon he is a proven goal scorer in the Premier League and may be annoyed that even with Balotelli and Tevez gone, City have brought in Jovetic and Negrado who will most likely move above him in the pecking order. Question is will one of these lot give us the goals needed for a Champions League or Premier League winning side? Also Two further Targets Jack Butland - I reckon we should snap them up - i know we have a lot of players in midfield and we have Courtois on loan with Cech, Hilario and Schwarzer but the last two will retire soon and Courtois was rumoured to leave if we don't start giving him first team football next season so could Butland be bought loaned and brought back - risky but could be rewarding TOM INCE - really feel Chelsea could miss out on him if not looked at seriously - He seems to have a bag full of tricks and would slot nicely into our young, attacking midfield although i would assume we loan him back to Blackpool to continue developing. He is young, talented and English but most importantly will be fairly Cheap compared to some other young attacking players such as Bernard and would fit perfectly into Financial Fair Play rules for us in future. also he really reminds me of Joe Cole on the field.
  5. Don't think Luiz will be going anywhere maybe bring in another centre back and loan out Chaboloah and Omeruo wholst Kalas stays for back up maybe move for someone such as Dede from Vasco De Gama. Also would anyone be against moving for Tom Ince???? maybe be loan him out but looks a real talent and reminds be of a Joe Cole styled player.
  6. I have to admit when Mourinho arrived i was slightly worried that Abromavich would try and keep his grip over the Chelsea Transfers but harmony has been found and it really is telling. I feel Abromavich has been wiser in the past with his signings and people such as Mata, Hazard, Schurrie, Lukaku and Oscar reflect that but more importantly we seem to be finding good players or talented youngsters who don't come with a ridiculously inflated transfer fee. Moses, Azpilicueta and Van Ginkel have proven that extraordinary funds are not required for talented buys which i must admit, Ferguson did so well for many years. I think we do need another Striker as Lukaku is not quite there... yet. Torres works hard and hopefully can get back near what he was at liverpool but i doubt he will ever reach his peak again and Ba is a squad player not a starter for Chelsea. Possibilities? I think Rooney has to be up their as he is talented beyond belief but the only thing which concerns me is the cost of him in transfer fee and Wages, it's a lot if he does not find his old form but he could be a star. Hernandez maybe? if we can't convince Man Utd to sell Rooney could we get Hernandez? he is rarely used by Man Utd and is younger than Rooney and costs less in both Wages and Transfer Fee and is a poacher which Chelsea could really use and he is proven to score in the Premier League. Dzeko? he is underused and we have seen can score goals and i imagine will be unsettled by being potentially behind Aguero, Negrado and Jovetic but he will have inflated Wages. Apart from these three anyone else such as Lewandoski or Mandzukic would be difficult to lure. In terms of anywhere else i fell Midfield is well covered and In Defence will Wallace (next season potentially), Kalas and Kenneth Omeruo who looked very good at the African Cup Of Nations and at the Confederations Cup and is already in our squad we look well set. Also would anyone be against potentially having cheeky bids for Tom Ince and Jack Butland ?? I know its risky and we don't really have a place to accomodate in our squad but i must admit that they look very good and could be loaned out along with players such as Omeruo , Kalas and Chabaloah and McEcharan to get practice in the Premier League at teams such as Cardiff, Crystal Palace and Hull or high end Championship clubs where hopefully they could play week in week out and we could set up an English based squad for the future.
