  1. bit early for any changes, not sure id bet too confident with Willian or Pedro defending against west broom
  2. West Brom are going to stamp, scrape and bully us all night .... always an aggressive team
  3. yes otherwise Pulis and his back 6 are gonna become a back 9
  4. i understand that Willian is a brilliant player.. but we don't need him on the pitch... he's got decent game time but the two young kids need game time to get better
  5. only thing thats irritating me is the lack of RLC or Chalobah ... surely the best time to bring them on and give them 20 mins
  6. glad we arent signing Traore, looks decent going forward but no end product, gives the ball away in compromising positions and can't track back
  7. second half, RLC on with willian and maybe Chalobah or Ake i reckon..
  8. Kante is banned for 10 yellow cards this season and assume Luiz isn't over the knock he took last game... --------------------------Tibo--------------------------- --------Dave-------GC----------Ake---------- VM----------Chabolah--------Matic--------Alonso ----------------Pedro------------Hazard--------------- ----------------------------DC--------------------------- Little bit out there in terms of selection but being at home and versus a weak Boro side id like to think Ake and Chab can slot in as feel with Pedro/Hazard/Costa... Fabs isn't needed to create... have a feeling Ake will start as not sure Conte fully trusts Zouma is over injury and that JT is capable of 90mins in the prem. Bench: Begovic, Zouma, terry, RLC, Fab, Willian, Bats
  9. very true, think Hudson-Odoi is 16! haven't heard much from Todd Kane in a while but has always been talked about highly and would make sense with lack of right wing backs at our disposal at the moment. Unlikely to get to see many of these guys this season as reckon Spurs will keep pressure on tonight. Would love to see RLC, Ake, Aina and Chabolah play more central roles as well. Middlesbrough at home would be a good chance to see RLC and maybe hazard or pedro I reckon. Give RLC 60 mins or Chabolah with Kante as reckon we will be on top on Monday night.
  10. As good as VVD is I really don't think we need him, especially at the £40m plus he would cost... even when Cahill & Luiz are gradually moved out we still have the like of Zouma, Ake, Christensen, Azpi and even Clarke Salter/Trev Chab in the future... in terms of left wing back... really like Jonas Hector but Bertrand would be a good squad players plus would qualify for former trainee and english
  11. Yes not particularly obvious there, but I think I'd be happy either way for either of those two (Abraham and RLC) to go out on loan or stay in the squad but if teams like Newcastle, Brighton, potentially Huddersfield are after them in the prem and they are going to get week in week out prem games it seems obvious for them to go out on loan. I'm still hoping Van Ginkel can be used in the squad but its seeming unlikely, he was uber talented but his knees are destroyed. also side note, if we win the Prem before end of the season... would love to see Trev Chab, Ugbo, Sterling and Castillo coming into the squad for last few games.. Sterling especially... he dominated Man City.
  12. Back in 1st team - Christensen, Baker, Kenedy, Blackman, Chalobah, Ake, Abraham Back out on loan - Abraham, Musonda, Boga, Beeney, Izzy Brown, Clarke-Salter, Colkett, Miazga, Kasey Palmer, Kiwomya, Angban, Nathan, Tomori, Mukhtar Ali, RLC, Aina Sold permanently (Or at least try to) - Wallace, Rodriguez, Kalas, Delac, Houghton, Davey, Traore, Pantic, Hector, Pasalic, Remy, Cuevas, Feruz, Omereu, Piazon, Atsu Realistically think Christensen will be a first choice centre back next year and Ake, Abraham, Chalobah, Kenedy, Baker can all play a more significant role.. Blackman can be back up. RLC and Aina need game time so somewhere like a Newcastle, Brighton etc. would be good. Tomori and Abraham are being looked at by Brighton so wouldn't mind those two going on loan as probs first choice, whilst the others can develop. those In the sell pile realistically haven't got much going for them anymore and even though Traore is good hes behind English youngsters like Abraham, Brown, Ugbo etc.
  13. Really hope these lads push on now... I wonder if we will see any of the youngsters by the end of the season? obviously all depends on results but who wouldn't love to see the like of RLC, Chalobah, Aina, Ake, Solanke being joined by Mount, Chalobah, Castillo, Sterling, Hudson Odoi, Ugbo etc. reckon if we seal the title Sterling, Castillo and Ugbo may feature... Sterling was another class yesterday
  14. Does everyone want to chill out a little bit.... yeah we aren't playing we'll but lets not go nuts yet.
  15. Alonso has looked so shaky in this game... like a gangly teenager
  16. After his performance for U21's and with a few key players maybe nursing a knock or two id love to see this, optimistic i know and probs will be the usual bunch but this feels like a game to get a few players involved Begovic Cahill Luiz Ake Azpi Alonso Kante Matic William RLC Pedro Costa Courtois - hips always a little tough to shrug off and an extra week would help Hazard - little rest due to long season and knock at belgium Moses - Maybe just rest for one game Also i know this is pessimistic but if anyone saw Benteke against Russia he looked lethal in the air.
  17. Hmmm suppose that's true... Zouma would be a good idea I reckon though .. he wont get ahead of the normal back three at the moment ... and Ake has come back to get game time whilst Terry, Ivanovic and Aina would fight it out for the other spots.
  18. Completely agree with powerful centre mid such as Kessie from Atlanta or Bakayoko who would fill that. Veratti a little optimistic and very expensive. reckon Ake can fill LWB but another RWB would be good. Also in terms of outs and maybe a little optimistic but what about Zouma and Loftus to Bournemouth for the rest of the season if we could work it? they play counter attacking football and we know they need a centre back whose comfortable on the ball and Zouma could use the game time and further Prem experience and would slot in to their team instead of Ake and gives them time to replace him in the summer. Loftus is just a guess but would rather him their than Newcastle. We must all admit Wilshere has looked since he went to Bournemouth and I reckon Loftus would like Howe's tactics. Also completely off topic but has Solanke's contract been sorted out? and if it has or hasn't.... why?

Great squad player if he did come... not sure West Ham would be too pleased about one of their fan favourites joining us. Gotta admire his determination and I like the wing back role but wouldn't mind some whose a bit better at defending... didn't cover himself in glory when he filled in at right back for West Ham.
  20. Yeah its a shame as all 3 (Brown, Abraham and Solanke) could be great for us but we are gonna struggle to fit them in unless someone like brown switches to a wing position. Realistically out of that lot with the return of loans and if we signed Llorente and had Bats. Costa - Starter (1st) Bats - Rotation (2nd) Abraham - BackUp (3rd) Solanke - Prem Loan (4th) Brown - Prem Loan or Sold (5th) Llorente - 1 season then sold Remy - Sold Bamford - Sold Traore - Sold (Great player but English youngsters key unless he converts to wing has to be sold) Moving back onto topic slightly, Conte seems to like that taller, aerial striker as he did Llorente when he signed him as back up, giving a different attacking dynamic to the team. Llorente transfer makes sense to his previous squads and makes me believe Abraham will be the one to succeed out of the others with maybe Solanke getting through.
  21. Apologies... scary as in what on earth are we going to do? That's a lot of forwards around the same age (Bats, Solanke, Abraham, Brown) - won't count Bamford as I reckon matter of time till he leaves... what are we gonna do next season with them all? they are going to be looking at Chabolah, Loftus Cheek and Aina and reckoning they should at least be around the squad... not to mention Traore to come back
