A CM needs to make assists at least. Mikel is a great CDM but not CM. Ramires doesnt have the first touch or passing range to be a true CM. He fills in well but it's not his natural position. Compare Ramires and Mikel to a true CM like Luka Modric and you'll see what I mean.
