Atletico v Chelsea - (CL SF 1st Leg) 22/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
Don't know how anyone can moan the way we're playing, our defence has been top notch. Can't play proper with our weak line-up, we'd get done on the counter which is going to happen to Atletico imo.

Your ideal starting XI next season..
That's true so is it the wide players at fault or tactics? Is Hazard being told to always cut in and shoot or is that all he does? For me the two wide men in a 4-2-3-1 need to be more versatile and more importantly a lot more bloody quicker/direct when distributing the ball. Hazard is a cracking player but god does he slow down play something awful, would love for him to just keep running and fling it into the box.

Your ideal starting XI next season..
Like the look of this. Might be unpopular but I hate Chelsea playing the 4-2-3-1. The two wide players have to be proper speedy wingers imo otherwise we end up looking like Arsenal (flashy with fcuk all end product). Dortmund, Madrid (under Mou) and Bayern last season played 4-2-3-1 and it worked because of how they play, don't know if it's our players or tactics but out build-up play is far too slow and we've been playing like Barcelona when we get near the box and it's pathetic and we all moan about having no proper striker but I don't believe a striker would help with our build-up. Sorry for the small rant but I'd like to know if other people agree or think I'm talking out my arse! Haha. We've got Mourinho, so either way we'll be sorted for next season.

I agree somec**ts getting sent off this 2nd half. Chelsea need to come out quick, looks like PSG can't handle the pressure and give away daft free kicks.

Cech or Courtois?
Heart says Cech ...Head says Courtois. Obviously there's no chance of sending Courtois out on loan again next season so it's either keep him or sell him to A.Madrid. Realistically Cech has maybe one or two seasons left in him to stay at the elite level we're used to from him. I just don't think it's worth using him for two seasons while losing out on the best young keeper in the world. Could go the Madrid route and rotate them for cup games and whatnot. I hope either way Cech stays with Chelsea though, would be good to have him in the background, maybe even becoming a GK Coach or something in the next 2-3 years.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
I liked Torres' performance last night, off the ball he was always giving the Arsenal defence pressure which made them rush more. On the ball? Well, can't really comment beacuse he didn't get enough touches. I know it's easy to hate him, especially if you bring stats into it, but he looks a much better player under Mourinho. A lot better than Eto'o and Ba.

Looked very solid the first half, defending's been top notch, although iva's been a bit 'meh'. Looking forward to the 2nd... the subs made will change the game, I think mourinho will get it right.

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 23/12/13 KO 20:00 GMT
True, but at the same time it's been against teams that defend with 11 men behind the ball and hit on the break. Something I expect Chelsea to do to Arsenal tonight.

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 23/12/13 KO 20:00 GMT
Looking forward to this lads.. one of those games I wish I was a neutral haha. Chelsea to take the 3 points, just need to be proper solid at the back and hurt them on the counter (mourinho special)

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 23/12/13 KO 20:00 GMT
Form goes out the window here. Chelsea keep playing teams that park the bus and score on the lucky break. We'll see Arsenal going on the offence and Chelsea defending as a unit, no need to take the game to them, let them fanny about and then hit them on the counter. Good feeling Chelsea will be getting the 3 points and I also think that'd make us top of league?

A distinct lack of warriors
Haha, this gets on my tits as well for some reason. OT: I agree just about 100% with the original post. I think Roman (or whoever is in charge of transfers) has looked at Barca and tried to copy them with the 'tiny nifty' players. That works in La Liga because it's La Liga, more about technical skill than physical. Having about 2 or 3 of these types of players in the first squad is fine, but our whole attack just seems like it consists of these players and they're all far too similar. We definitely need a lot more steel, especially in the middle of the park. I'm looking forward to the next couple of seasons IF Mourinho's allowed to bring in whoever. (And also sell whoever)
