I'd take either, or, preferably, both. If someone had offered me in August this situation, with 6, hopefully 7 games to go I'd be delighted, even if we don't manage either it's been a great season, especially for a transitional one. But ill keep the faith, we can do both.

I don't think they'll set up for a draw either and am confident we can win, but just thinking we might need to win that game just to stop them, a draw wouldn't be enough for us I feel and a draw doesn't really mean that city will win it either

Hoping the Swansea game was the exception and the finishing I've seen from him before is the norm, did sme great build up play just a shame he couldn't finish em. I'd rather that way round though, it's easier to learn to do the finishing than to learn everything else, plus that way he can bring a lot more to the team whilst learning to hit the target more consistently

Just a thought though, Liverpool might only need a draw against us if they win thier remaining games, given the fact that city would have to win all of thier games to go ahead of Liverpool. I have doubts about city after Sunday and with a few players out they I feel they will definitely drop points somewhere, that leaves the door open for us but it also means we might HAVE to win at anfield just to stop Liverpool, I don't think well lose, but it will be tough to win there.

I'm not trying to make up any rules, I'm just saying in my opinion they started singing it very early and it didn't sit well with me, thier fans cocky attitude, very early on, is the reason I don't want them to win the league. That's pretty much all I'm saying, as I've said they're more than entitled to be singing it now and for the last few weeks but, for me they just seemed arrogant and I can't stand arrogant people. You might see it as tongue in cheek but given the reaction I've seen from the fans I know they believe they've deserved it for a good few months. If we were singing that we'd win the champions league once we'd got out the groups I would be a little embarrassed.

As far as I'm aware we didn't sing about winning the champions league till we got through to the quarter finals, for me once you're in the last 8 of any cup you have a good chance, the chants have been stepped up since going through to the semis and rightly so. If you wanna stick up for Liverpool fans do it as much as you want I'm just saying they started too early, it would have been like us singing about the champions league in the group stage.

I've hid the people that annoy me, but how petty does it look deleting my friends? You must be quite lonely if you delete people you're good friends with just cause they do a status or two. The chants are a bit different, I don't mind since they've gone top and especially since winning at the weekend they can chant about winning the league, but its been for so long, after winning against average teams, is stupid, overly arrogant.

All I see on Facebook/twitter is Liverpool fans saying the league is already won, the fact I've heard scousers singing 'were gonna win the league' since at least month ago where you had no right to, no reason to believe it then, just gives a bad image for me, makes you lot look cocky. I don't mind most of your players, quite like Rodgers but its Liverpools fans that put me off

The thing I'm worried about is if city drop points before our game at anfield Liverpool would know that a draw would be enough, leaving us to go all out attack and if they got the first goal it would be very difficult. Then again, if city don't drop points before that game, there's less games for them to. They do play their two tough away fixtures,palace and Everton, after we play Liverpool, but, if the title is in thier hands we might see them win all the games they need to. Still can't count city out.

Even if we win it the media will probably give more credit to Liverpool for coming close, if I'm right in saying no manager of the month this year and no players given player of the month either. If we win the league without a striker and doing so after few years of not even being close Jose has got to be given a huge amount of credit, but he won't, we never seem to get the credit we deserve cause we don't play out from the back

I know it's actually everywhere now. In the papers on tv, everywhere online, soon they'll be bigging Liverpool on the side of buses. I've said the same as you to win on they'll have to win all their games which would be 14 in a row won, they are good but I don't see that happening somehow.

I feel confident going into Sunderland, our only problem might be thinking about future games but if we focus it should be enough to get the job done. As for Liverpool if we do it vs Sunderland the motivation should be there anyway, maybe more pressure on them could tell, either way it will be a must win for both, even a draw gives city the advantage

Every other team hates us?!? That's it I'm gonna have to stop supporting Chelsea. Says a lot about scousers, having to argue on a day that they should be celebrating. I reckon DaveMac82 knows Chelsea are gonna win the league and is trying to live in the moment, knowing it will soon be gone, enjoy it while you can because it will just be funnier the longer it goes with you still believing just for it to be taken away at the last minute.

Why am I seeing on Facebook videos from Liverpool fan pages saying that Gerrard is a 'hero' because he cried after the win today.

Is a shame that we could win all our games and still not be enough, 4 of city's 6 are at home, luckily the two potentially toughest games (Everton and palace) are away, we can go top if we win at Liverpool but still need city to slip up. I'm confident we can do our job just hate relying in others to help us out. What a story it would be for lukaku to score the goal that would put the title in our hands, then who would question joses decision to let him go.

I don't think we can rely on Liverpool dropping points elsewhere, we need to win all of our games simple as that, they would have to lose or draw twice if we don't beat em, even in that case we still can't lose there, but if we don't win there we need city to drop points twice even though they didn't look great today I still don't see their season completely falling apart

Yeah and the fans are so annoying about it too, even if we don't win it a draw at anfield could stop them from doing it

Norwich at home shouldn't be too much of a worry and if we can win the league by beating Cardiff I have no doubts we will.

Big result this towards the title, Liverpool is obviously the toughest game but apart from that I felt this was, we should win both of our home games. Plus we know we can beat Liverpool and our performance vs city away gives me confidence we can pull of another big win. Then our last game away at Cardiff shouldn't be like our over away games if it means winning it wins us the league. Just really need city to drop those two points

Like I say I think us winning the games will be tough but we can do it, take each game as it comes but I definitely feel like we're closer to having the title in our hands after today's result

I don't think that's true as man city will still have a game in hand after that game, they would need to have a major breakdown for that to happen

We just need city to draw one from 6 whilst winning all of our games. Maximum points totals; Liverpool - 89 City - 88 Chelsea - 87 One or both of us or lpool can't reach our maximum though obviously.

We're gonna win the league, let all the attention be on Liverpool.
