So now everyone agrees he's lost the dressing room. I remember being mocked here a few weeks ago when I made a thread stating the same thing. The idea that a group of players who won the league comfortably last season can suddenly turn to sh*t overnight is ridiculous.

His antics suggests a man who is fed up and wants out. The players, despite their public words of loyalty want him gone too. Obviously he won't just quit because that would mean giving up close to £30m in fees so he'll continue to make a nuisance of himself until his position is untenable and the club will have no choice. Meanwhile it's the club and the fans who continue to suffer. This is not going to get any better anytime soon but worse. Sack him, pay him his money and let's move on.

You're spot on. There's a lack of good managers out there out there right now and I think Liverpool have finally got one. I can see him doing really well there.

They had a full summer off and started pre season later than everyone so how can they be burnt out? Seems to me like people are looking for excuses everywhere instead the one place they should be looking at.

I don't want him out but I'm surprised how naive some you are thinking this is just a blip. How does a team that walked the league last season be this bad? Pretty much every player is playing crap, probably with the exception of one or two players. We haven't sold any of our top players from last season and in fact we've added to the squad. Maybe it's the Carneiro situation I don't know, but there's definitely a behind the scenes turmoil going on. I've said this countless times but the club needs to sit down and have a heart to heart with everyone to clear the air. What's going on has nothing to do with players form. Not every single player suffers from bad form just like that.

Yep, Roman is not the sentimental type. We now have two weeks off so perfect time to get rid, bring in Klop and give him at least some time before the villa game. This is not about Mourinho's ability as a manager as I still think he's the best manager in the world, but he's lost the dressing room. If the players are not playing for you anymore it doesn't matter how good a manager you are, you'll still lose and that's what's happening.

So do people still think this is just a temporary blip and nothing at all going on behind the scenes? The same players who walked the league last season now playing like championship players? None of them look interested, just bored and almost waiting for the inevitable. The Arsenal win with 9 men peppered over the cracks and this isn't going to get better anytime soon.

There's no denying that he's the best manager in the world and I'm a big fan but my opinion is that there's a massive rift behind the scenes which has nothing to do with football. It doesn't matter how good a manager you're, if the players are no longer playing for you then really what's the point? I've said it before that I hope I'm wrong and this is just a blip and the players are still behind him but I don't believe that's the case.

So he's basically throwing a strop and damaging the team because the board didn't back him? People talk about signings but this is the same team that comfortably won the league last season. We might not be as good as city right now but this team should be at least challenging city for the title and now thanks to his tantrums we're out of the title race after just 5 games. He talks about how he wants to stay long term yet his actions suggests otherwise. We have a very good youth team that has won every youth trophy going so clearly there's talent in there and as a manager who wants to stay long term why not try some of them out? im not going to criticize the board and especially Roman because they've backed the team very well and I agree with them that it's time we started playing some of the youth.

Really shocking that we are out of the title race after just five games. Has this ever happened before in premier league history? I remember even during fergies domination, teams were still In with a shout after Christmas. Anyway let's just finish fourth, win a cup and hopefully at least reach CL semi finals.
