1. you need to defend a 1 goal lead. for 9 minutes in your most important game of the season, against 10 men would you expect to win? 2. you are going to play against 10 men for 90mins would you expect to win? I think if you gave the following scenarios to any fan the would be yes.;

they will never be in that bracket they are great players, i could have carried on, neuer and lehmann are two good examples, lehmann on his day was just as capable as neuer, but never consistent enough, neuer is consistent week in week out, oscar and co you just don't know which one will turn up and put a performance in. at the end of the day we played 90 mins, at home against 10 men and still could only draw.

so you think an assist every 3 games and 2 goals is accepptable fair play no surprise we are out of the champions league.
