What is Done is Done

Last Night was one of the most disheartening performances I have seen from Chelsea in a very very long time. The one thing you can always count on from CFC is heart, determination and commitment to the cause and unfortunately we lacked in all areas.

However we need to move forward and focus on the league, much rather we go out now than lose out in the semis. Team is struggling from fatigue and I dont think this squad is good enough at present to win the CL and even if we went through we would have struggled to progress into the semi.

We need to look ahead to Southampton and shut out the league and hopefully strengthen in the summer. We need to remember that it is a learning experience for the players and also for Mourinho and hopefully we can take it in our stride and build on this.

Throw caution to the wind, I want to see us gamble a bit, play the high line, go all out attack, see what happens for a game or two.

We looked so good at the start of the season, full of beans......but We've been sh*te to watch for months.

ROTATE THE TEAM A BIT

I agree we have been below par for quite some time now and I think all the fans are unanimous in the view that this is down to lack of squad rotation at the start of the season  however on the bright side we have made progress this season. If we end up with the league cup and Premier League I believe we can consider the season to be a success.

Mourinho will need to bring in good squad players who can be rotated with the starting 11 and more importantly the issue with Oscar and Fabregas needs to be addressed because they have a history of fading away at the business end of the season.

I really think the team is heading in the right direction and us as fans should appreciate that and support the lads during this difficult phase.

I don't think it is down to the team not being rotated enough. Look at Diego Costa and Oscar, they have both missed a fair amount of games this season but they are 2 of our most out of form players at the moment. Then you look at Hazard who plays pretty much every game for the full 90 minutes and he never looks like he needs a rest. I personally think that the players are feeling the pressure a bit and a run of poorish performances from them has made them lose their confidence.

"sh*t for months" sadly that's the truth.

That's why i said after the away leg i didn't fancy us to go through our last decent performance  was against swansea? what is jose going to do? read them the riot act? threaten to drop players? he can't he's got no one to bring in?

For me this has been the case for us for a while, we seem to start strong and end up having to scrape results at the end of the season. Unfortunately out title rivals appear to finish strong, so that's a bit of a worrying thought.

Last season was our worst start we've ever had under Roman and funnily enough we had a good start, it just goes to show how good our starts have been really. This season and last we were playing really well up until about January and then it became a matter of grinding out results and playing 2nd best in a handful of games.

We might be getting ahead of ourselves, we are still winning the league by some distance afterall and a game in hand, however no one can deny we have been sh*t for a while now, that's a concern.
