At last BBC commentary team have mentioned Hazard's flicks turnover possession soon to the opposition and even when they are successful it means hid teammates are surrounded.

Christensen and Courtois have finished our season in the last month. When we needed them in the big games they completely failed.

Christensen is becoming a big a liability as Cahill (I thought that would have been impossible).

For those defending 'our' version of the false 9 system, if you have Sky Sports listen to G.Nevilles and Henry's deconstruction of it (throughout the game).

Alonso is such a limited player. His free kicks and goals mask what an average player he is. He doesn't even get up and down the left flank to provide an outlet.

Raul Meireles *Now Signed*
After getting 'a good night's sleep' sleep I am still feeling a little underwhelmed by the signing of Raul Meireles. The only positive aspect I can take from this transfer is if he keeps Mikel out the team. But I am not sure how this will actually help our defence by not having a specialist (or in Mikel's case a 'limited' player) in front of the back four. He is here now, signed by RM so he will feature. A bit like Roy Hodgson insisting on playing Poulsen and Kochensky when he was in charge. I am hoping he proves me wrong – I was gutted when we signed Carvalho and he replaced Gallas in the centre of our defence (and as a result Gallas played at left back). And Carvalho went onto become one of the best defenders in the Premiership. Who know’s? Maybe he will surprise me and few others? * Personally not the player I think we needed, even more disappointing is the fact that he not even the ‘type’ of player I think we needed.

Raul Meireles *Now Signed*
"...Because that is the impatient, prejudiced, spoilt and jealous attitude that pervades the atmosphere on matchday these days..." It's my opinion on the Raul Meireles signing. You don't need to agree with it but you don't need to start a personal attack. Footballers, managers, players/ transfers divide public opinion. That's the whole point of the forum. Chelsea FC is not going to whither away or die because I am unhappy with a particular signing...yes I am having a moan. I understand why some fans will look to back the Raul Meireles because he is now a Chelsea player - but seriously this transfer is disappointing becuase it shows the quality of player the manager thinks will take us forward and the direction of the club. Why spend £12m on him when have Josh McEachran. Also it is not an impatient opinion - because I have seen a judging him on his lseason at Liverpool, and and was not overly impressed by RM. And why would I be prejudiced against him???? I simply don't think he is good enough.

Raul Meireles *Now Signed*
I have not posted on this forum for many years (because I hate the moaning aspect of many threads) but today Chelsea and 'AVB' have forced me to....well cry. Raul Meireles what a stupid f*****g signing. What a waste of £12m. The difference between Ferguson and the rest is simple: - Ashley Young £12m (bargain) - Phil Jones £12m (bargain) - Chris Smalling £10m (now looks a bargain) But Chelsea and our new idiot of a manger has spent £12m on Raul f*****g Meireles! I don't believe it, that is way too much money for a player who has looked distinctly average for Liverpool. He could not even make their first team. Where does this leave Josh McEachran???? This is the most depressed I have been in a long time. I had such I hopes for AVB. The football we have played in so far this season has been the worst in a long time (admittedly it's only 3 games). Nothing too special tactic's wise. Sticking with the same old faces. But this signing has convinced me he does not have a clue. How Ferguson and Mancini must be laughing? Andreas Villas Boas – you sir, are an idiot! Welcome to Chelsea.

Leon Knight's mum
I do remember Leon knight's mum being on the old csr. Back in the day when I was a regular poster and not a lurker. Everytime I see his name mentioned - I think of her and her posts.

What's wrong with Anelka?
What's wrong with Anelka? He is not playing as a striker / center forward anymore. He is following the ball and clogging up our midfield. He needs to touch the ball less and take opposition players away from Drogba or Lampard (or which ever midfielder is approaching the box). God knows he might get a couple of goals himself. He is becoming a ‘problem’. I don’t think he does it on purpose or that Ancelloti is telling him to play this way but it is clearly not working. You know why Anelka almost never gives the ball away? Because 99% of his passes are safe, short, sideways passes. And does he even bother to run into the box any more? No. Joe Cole on the other hand is a complete and utter waste of footballing talent. Bar half a season here or there and a couple of recent performances for England he has been the most over-rated player ever. I want him to do well but he needs a boot up his are – Joe Cole you need to get your sh*t together. JT performances are okay – but what is happening is the opposition fans are creating a noisy atmosphere and energy out of hate (starting with him as the base). And the opposition players are feeding of this and ‘upping’ there performances. So has the JT saga affected us? Yes it has. No questions. But we have more than enough quality to overcome this. Pace? Anelka has it but rarely runs in behind defender, Drogba has it but not when he is running with the ball (his control when running is poor). Malouda has some but rarely any end product (i.e. Valencia). Kalou is a sheer waste of pace and SPERM. Look up when you pass, fool! In the absence of any true pace we need to pass the ball quicker like the Arsenal or Man Utd.

Aston Villa
I agree with everyhting in that post above. Now I don't normally like Villa but they greatly impresses me today. We need PACE just like Aston Villa, and maybe we might win something this season.
