Well we did get Zola in his peak... Hazard has a lot of room for improvement before we can justifiably compare them both.

I'll probably get a few raised eyebrows when people here will read this but I think he was quite bad in that highlight reel. As a central midfielder he was completely unaware of his surroundings once he was under pressure and easily gave away the ball with misplaced passes, he managed well giving out basic passes once he had space but every now and then he tried something 'fancier' and it backfired. Based on this performance I personally don't think he has earned a shot anytime soon especially since USA U-21 is not even close to Premiership level.

Anderlecht, he's 17 years old and he's been playing for 2 years now in the starting eleven. Considered as a huge talent. Here is a nice highlight reel to show his style of play:

I wish we would bring in Youri Tielemans as a rotation for Fabregas, he really looks like he can be the real deal within a year or two.

If we do end up buying a CB I definitely would be happy with Stones.

He is irreplaceable. The whole effect JT gives Chelsea is something that we will never probably be able to replace... having a leader that has the same authority like him on the pitch is rare, having a role model like him for youngsters to learn from is rare, having a world class legendary defender like him is rare, having the same defender play for 16 (and growing of course) years in the senior club and graduate from the academy is rare. Having the whole package? only JT can pull that off.

First time poster but a long time reader here :) Just wanted to express my enthusiasm from retaining Stamford Bridge as our home, as a kid I grew up in Chelsea a few minutes walk from the bridge and until this day I remember most of the walks I made to to the bridge on a match day so Stamford Bridge means quite a lot to me. The first thing I do when I get to London these days is head to the bridge just to get the feeling that I have arrived home. Although a lot of people were excited by the prospect of a new shiny stadium I'm sure there are quite a few here that have many memories from Stamford Bridge and would love to keep acquiring new ones there as well :)
