Now I didn't see that coming...
I did in the thread where I said so, and you avoided replying to my point about why Khedira would be better for us over Mikel and also better for his playing time :)

Armchair fans, IMO, are the types that sit and comment about it online all the time but don't watch all the games and never even go to any games
-
Isco
I suppose, but for things like this only time will really tell. I mean a few years ago Im sure along with me there were plenty of people who thought McEachran almost had to break into our first team, and that turned out horribly
-
Isco
Do you even go to games or just sit and talk about it on the internet? I've met plenty of people like you, and most of them have never been to a single game lol. Just comment about it online.

Rarely, but seeing as you think that. Lets see how much extra income Mainz as a club get because of them signing Muto

Now I didn't see that coming...
Because on our bench he has more chance of playing more games, unlike at Real.

he just seems like one in all honesty, doesn't seem like the type to exactly go to all the games. Thats whats great about football right? Everyone has their opinions which people can argue about to no end
-
Isco
True he did. But you could say the same about Ake, he's been part of the squad yet hardly got any game time, but that doesn't take away what a great prospect he is. I never said he was going to automatically come in and start games over ivanovic.. I said in the future (maybe 3-4 years from now) he could potentially be ivan's successor.

Do you watch much championship games? I admit I don't watch all the games, but I like to watch some games where our loanees are playing, and he's been pretty impressive.

Are you blind? Can you not see what im writing you silly armchair fan? Im very loyal to Ivanovic, but you act like no matter what happens you'd want Ivanovic to stay? Lets say PSG offered us 200m for him, you still want him to stay? Clearly not. So shutup and stop acting superior you arrogant rodent.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
As much as I do think Mikel's time is up and RLC is massively talented, I still think he slowly needs to be eased into games like Zouma was. If Matic gets injured, starting him as replacement against top teams would probably not be wise, but to come as a sub in the last 10 minutes or so of a game, that i'll be happy with

Isco
Agree with first statement, but he played the full game against arguably the most fearsome attacking team last season and he impressed massively. Azpi and Luis, and then buy a backup fullback with the money we would have just got from the ivanovic sale, which I think would have happened. saying 'get rid of him' sounds bad, I wouldn't want to see him go at all, unless the money offered was huge, where I think we could improve the squad in other areas. Also, its very hard to be a defender and 'set alight' anything, its just tough. Much easier being a forward and getting hyped up a lot. But I guess only time can really tell

I know but its not like its crucial to us.. Signing a japanese player isn't automatically going to give us millions upon millions of extra income

Khedira?

Go down a few posts, and you know what I was trying to say.. Don't do selective reading

Yes but Kalas was also in the squad last season while Zouma was out on loan and unluckily for him because of JT and Cahill being on top form, he wasn't able to get much playing time. And once again you have musunderstood what I said, I suggested that IF (big if there) we were to get a offer for Ivan for a BIG sum of money (similar to david luiz) then I would consider selling him. Then to fill his void we could play Azpi in his natural RB spot and Luis in LB, with Kalas EVENTUALLY getting more and more game time like Zouma has this season.. And I agree, Kalas is nowhere near the level of ivanovic right now, he has a lot to learn still, but potential wise i think he has a ton
-
Yoshinori Muto of FC Tokyo
Not like we exactly need him thought anyway right? We have plenty of players like him already, both out on loan and coming up through the academy so... Not like we're going to massively miss out, unless he turns into a KDB, but i highly doubt that
-
Isco
Well obviously, but so does Zouma right? And he's already pretty much considered the eventual successor to JT. Whats wrong with saying Kalas will eventually succeed Ivanovic? Im not saying right now, but im saying give him a similar role to what Zouma had this year, and im confident he will show his ability
-
Isco
No I said if Bayern were to offer a huge sum of money (like with PSG and David Luiz) I wouldn't be TOO unhappy about the fact that he would leave, and eventually kalas was would become his successor. As for a replacement right after Ivan left, I said we could move Azpi back into his natural RB and Let Luis play LB. With Kalas getting some games in between (Like with Zouma) this season. What i said there is massively different from what you just thought I said :)

Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!
I guess, but as you said if Zidane near his peak was worth 70m in todays price, and Pogba was 60m,, who in their right mind wouldn't spend that extra 10m for Zidane? I guess its important, but i'll be more inclined to give RLC a chance first, who at his age is showing every bit of potential that pogba showed at the same age
-
Now I didn't see that coming...
Maybe trash is too far, but we can find a much better backup to Matic than he can As i said before, maybe 'trash' wasn't the right word and took it too far, but I think he's over stayed his welcome at Chelsea. He was useful for us a few years ago, but been more and more hopeless in recent years
-
Isco
I've posted there before, and also in the youth part the forum Lol you low IQ imbecile, I merely suggested that in the future that Kalas could eventually replace Ivanovic and be his heir. Never did I say that we should sell ivanovic now and play Kalas instead of him. So please check your facts before you make clueless, horrible points like that. No I wouldn't suggest that, but you seem like a armchair fan who will just talk about games online and never actually go to games, so you should probably go to a few games before you comment about other people's opinions. Moron.

Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!
I agree he's a special player and very good, but any 22 year old worth upwards of 60m is just ludicrous to me. Especially considering that someone on the level of Zidane was only signed for I believe 45m 15 years ago, and he even at the time was already a all time great

Random Rumours
Exactly this, it's always hard to judge talent based on 1 season, consistency is what we need importantly. A lot of people can have 1 good season, but if they can't replicate that in future seasons its just not good enough
-
Set to Sign Nathan
Exactly, can even say the same about some of our own players like McEachran. They might show huge potential at 16-18 but the real progress is made from 18-22
