It is a massive gamble, number quoted today for city was 480 million. I don't know how much money Messi would bring in to the club due to higher sales in merchandise and more money from sponsors but if those numbers look good then it may be worth taking the risk.

I just saw the Drogba Messi Turkish Airlines ad on TV. I'm saddened by the change from Samsung, I literally bought all Samsung products over the years because they sponsored us. I wont be flying Turkish air anytime soon. So Samsung will lose a lot of business due to this and I just don't see Turkish Airlines getting a return on their money from it. That said, take the money. Cant see Barca letting him go but if they did and we signed him it would take Chelsea to the top of the pile. We're one of the biggest clubs in the world but having Messi would take us to the peak. So much money though, there's a lot you can do with that kind of cash.

Just diving in on the calls for Schurrle to get more time etc.. While he sure can score goals the biggest problem I see with him is that he makes a lot of passing mistakes, cant do that at this level. he needs to improve there or go. Willian adds so much energy and creativity to the team, he is an inspiration to all. He's a keeper.

Need to give Remy a chance, we have a lot of creative talent on the field that do not score enough goals (Oscar Willian) and defences are learning to deal with Costa so we have to add more firepower, give Remy a chance over someone like Oscar.

Can't believe Burnley came to our rescue, I was on the edge of my seat throughout our game and then for the last half of theirs. Cant stand seeing us pass the ball around the 18 yard box a thousand times and not get a shot off. That said we're the best team in the PL.
