Petr Cech to Arsenal
My take on all this is that Cech has basically flipped the bird at Chelsea, the fans, Mou and everything associated with Chelsea. And as such anyone that feels the need to flip one back at him is well within their rights. No doubt he is too good to be on a club's bench, no doubt he deserves to be able to go to where he wants, no doubt he won it all with us playing a very big part and that's why I always doubted he would actually go to Arsenal. At the end of the day he maybe considers it a job like most footballers would but you can't have had such a huge role in Chelsea and not understand what leaving to Arsenal would mean. They will maybe call us classy for doing this but really its classy fools. It's just not done, except when its a hostile purchase. Cech made it as friendly as it could be for Arsenal. Some say last year within contract and £11m I agree, others say no other clubs bid seriously I agree as well but what we must realise is that all this happened because Cech had basically let them know he would join them. They knew it was the move he wanted and didn't need to bid any higher, other clubs didn't bother chase because they would have already been told about Cech's choice when they would have enquired about him. I'm all for respecting players and their choices but also believe respect is reciprocal. I respect Lampard but not his choice to go to Man City and whilst i appreciate him for all he did with us in my opinion he is just another footballer with a rival club. The classy response some of us gave him on his return contributed to Cech's move 'cause he would have thought at some point how will this go down with the Chelsea faithful and remember, "Lamps didn't get a bad reception like"". I'm not saying burn a shirt, i'm not saying troll the guy on the internet, i'm not saying abuse him with hate and vitriol, all i'm saying is don't let them think its ok to just flip the bird at us and expect a hero's welcome when they're back or even acceptance of their actions when they go. Loyalty isn't much in football these days and for those that no me well know i'm one that always supports players choices to leave a club and actively criticise fans for how far they take their sentiments/emotions. Mourinho loves Lampard let's not get it twisted, he was always happy to talk about him when he was with us and even after he got released until he moved to Man City. Because he was disappointed in the Man's choice. Let's not kid ourselves. Lampard had been on mega wages a week for a long time, should we not be questioning his refusal to go on lower wages and sign rather than leave us so he could go somewhere else they were prepared to pay him those mega wage? Jose brought back a 36 year old important part of our winning history and do you really think he wouldn't have wanted Lamps to stay as well. They just couldn't justify paying him what he had been getting when it was obvious he was on the decline. Yet after his dodgy move we applaud the "hero". why wouldn't Cech leave if an Englishman could leave to hook up with a rival. It's alright for you to say let's be classy about this one, it won't make them not call you classless when they describe you. After over 10 years with us if Cech doesn't understand that it would be a slap in the face to join Arsenal, then good riddance but certainly not to bad rubbish. Great keeper, but not so much a great man as some are trying to paint him.

Chelsea v Crystal Palace (PL) 03/05/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
There is only a guard of honour, home or away, if agreed by both clubs. Not compulsory, nice gesture to give which has in a way become traditional, but totally optional.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
True talk but remember.....Hi I'm Jose, and I'm here to ruin your party. No one brings others to a grinding halt as much as he does. I was more worried about the QPR game than any of those 2.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Thank you for reasoning. A legend like fergie only 2 in 27 years.Jose probably has at least one more CL cup for him but it's not his birthright. I didn't like Fergie when he was taking every team apart but damn I respected his genius. Wouldn't have said it out to anyone but I knew he was Don Corleone of the game. Wouldn't have minded one bit if he was our manager and I have a conviction 95% of the Jose haters are going through the exact emotions.Everyone can't like you so naturally don't expect all to like him. But by God I'm so happy we've got one of the top 3 managers in the world.

Welcome Loic Remy
I agree. Understandable from thhe point of building team spirit and mental strength but football wise it has held the team back. He will give you the odd goal but is a man running on just experience now and nothing much more. Mourinho's strength is also a big weakness this season bease he's averse to risk and always opts for the trusted rather than try the new unknown and get them become the trusted. As much as I like him I think it's absolutely ridiculous to play Drogba ahead of Remy or Zouma a defender in midfield rather than Aké or RLC. Why not start Remy and bring on Costa after 70 mins instead of the current pattern that's obviously not working and been totally sussed out by the opposition

A bit daft in my opinion to suggest we lost because Matic was off. Is a game of football now a one man game? Should any of the other players on the pitch be less capable of producing a winning performance in a high stake game? Was the capital one cup won with Matic in the side? If he's so infallible why was he injured or why doesn't he give us a hatrick each game. This one eyed favouritism beggars belief. Like the other poster said we aren't doing what we used to do well without him in the team. Whether coincidence or not I don know but the facts are there for scrutiny. With a supposedly better balanced spine it's going tits up. Why?

Outplayed and outstrengthened I agree but not outclassed. They weren't particularly spectacular. Jose and his boys made them look good. Don't understand why you bring on The Drog and don't get the team to play to his aerial strength. No balls looking for his head when he was in good positions in the box. Instead messrs Fabregas,Hazard,Ivanovic and Willian kept trying their intricate passes in slow motion that hasn't worked in like 10 games now.

The ever critical Zeta. Never a positive comment read from you. We did well below average,Mou is defensive by nature. It is very annoying and beggars belief mist timed as we can have a go at anyone we play if he unshackles the team. Saying that,it works for him as his 21 trophies clearly show. However you always have that thought of what if in your mind. Unshackles the beast Jose. Can anyone get that message to him?

I agree with you Droogba. Most conduct themselves well and also we do have a history that has all built up to today but Mou has definitely done great and a lot of success achieved in last decade I'll say he with the backing of the boss Mr Abramovich made possible. Fans are the only lasting part of a club to a great extent so I understand the sentiment. All in all I'm happy to see the the team do well.Maybe some decisions and performances can be questioned but i think all of the playing and coaching staff also want what the fans do but It won't be had all the time. I love your passion guys.It truly is nice to see.- Chelsea vs Bradford (FA Cup) 24/01/2015 KO: 15:00 GMT

I've been browsing this website for a good few years now, nothing near as many of you. Also started supporting Chelsea since the mid 90's. Still nowhere near the length of time as many of you. What makes me post here for the first time ever is just to say it's a free world and everyone is entitled to their opinions but i must say it's absolutely shocking the kind of comments from some people i see here. Every game of football has a winner or loser, its not our right to be the winners all the time. That's football. The vitriol targeted at some particular players is again shocking. Some are long time servants of the club, others not so long but they are professionals paid to do a job, and no player is happy to go out their and put out a bad performance. If it was that easy, wonder why you're not in the blue of our beloved team week in week out. The manager has come under attack from some quarters, do you think he sets up the team to lose? He is a manager, and human, not God so expect he will get it awfully wrong sometimes. He has given Chelsea what it is today, it could have been any other manager as well but he was the one at the time to turn us into a force and firmly in the upper echelons of football. Its a free world, express yourself and your opinions but let's apply a measure of sensibility. - Chelsea vs Bradford (FA Cup) 24/01/2015 KO: 15:00 GMT
