YoeriZ got a reaction from LengmanJedi in Thibaut CourtoisBecause the Courtois we've seen during the World Cup or at Atletico Madrid has never shown up at Chelsea. His heart doesn't seem to be in it and he plays like it. Courtois did okay, but I feel that he never really lived up to his potential. Just look at away game at Barcelona last season (this is just one example, I know, but it's the first one that comes to mind). Chelsea were better at home, they had a lot of chances and were unlucky to not win that game by atleast 2 goals.. Chelsea went out because of Courtois' errors! The rest of the team never stood a chance after he let that ball in in the third minute!
The reason we won the title in '16-'17 wasn't Courtois. The great defensive unit in front of him did all the work and he still made some pretty major mistakes.. I think everything we've won since he became the first GK is more inspite of Courtois than thanks to Courtois!

YoeriZ got a reaction from LengmanJedi in Thibaut CourtoisI can't wait to see him leave.. He doesn't want to be at Chelsea, and to be honest: we could do a lot worse than Thibaut Courtois! He was one of the biggest talents of his generation, but he never lived up to his talent in my opinion. Looking back, I think we should have sold him to Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid in the summer of 2015. Petr Cech, a club legend, was replaced by this ungrateful man and that was a mistake looking back on it..

YoeriZ reacted to Argo in How much time will Sarri get?He will be fine unless he f**ks up beyond all comprehension, despite going through a lot of managers Roman isn't close to the impatient trigger happy maniac he's perceived as.

YoeriZ reacted to Dixon in 2018/19 squadI think we are now starting to really pay for abandoning what we started when we signed Hazard, Oscar and Mata - signing players who technically gifted. We brought back a manager who was never going to carry on with what we were building for the longterm future. For short term gain it was ripped up. Yes, we bagged a couple of titles but they were in very poor standard seasons when City were way below their best. However, even when not at their best City have been playing technically good football and signing players who can play that way. They now have it all in place with the best manager guiding them along. Meanwhile, we have an odd mishmash of players with many either not technically good enough or not fit or fast enough to play Sarriball. Look at the horrendous waste of money on the likes of Bats and Bakayoko. Players who wouldn''t get in City's junior teams on technical ability. Sarri has the hardest job of any Chelsea manager in the last 25 years!

YoeriZ reacted to General in Newcastle V Chelsea (PL) Sun 13th May 15:00 UKThe team was only a week ago on the end of a 5 game winning streak taking momentum to the last 2 prem games where we and the media could see us getting top 4. What does AC do 6 changes Weds and 8 changes today. And we wonder why this has gone pear shaped.
All his good work from last season undone, I’m going final next week a big investment when you live in LA so the bloke better play the strongest 11 and keep Baka & Barkley on the friggin bench.
