I saw that game, his goal was a bad positioning of Citys keeper; I heard the goalie loves doing that type of things. However, the finishing was good. The post was a bad clearance from city defender. Other than that he did jack sh*t the whole match. Also, I believe it was City first friendly game vs United who had 2 before they played City. I still don't see him as a threat. You know who I was scared of? Zlatan. Every time he touched the ball I thought he was going to score, Lakaku doesn't give me that vibe. The last striker for Chelsea who gave me that vibe was Drogba and Ronaldo (The Brazilian) for Real Madrid. I don't mention Messi because he is just insane lol. I might get this wrong but thus far this is what I have seen of Lakaku.

Redcafe is in butthurt mode. I remember yesterday when Di Marzio reported that Chelsea was close to agreeing on a fee for Morata and then it was agreed some poster created a thread "Lukaku vs Morata season 2017/2018" I was laughing so hard. Even today they are still going at it.. Never seen such delusion... HOLY sh*t.

Every Hispanic culture is different. I'm not from Spain so I have no idea hahaha. I can just say that Morata took it like a man; coming off the bench and not whining. Michy is another one that comes to mind. Benched most of the time yet didn't complain or anything. During a marca interview before Morata took the flight they asked him if he had enough about Real Madrid and he said yes. They also asked him if the reason he was leaving was because of play time and he also said yes and that he was in contact with Conte. Lastly they asked him if he would return to real madrid in 2 years time and he kind of said I don't believe so but knowing football you never know.... One thing that impressed me was that one of the reporters asked him "why so serious? smile, you have signed for a club! and he replied you never know until the end. I will smile when i have signed and put on the Chelsea jersey. Also making reference to the United ordeal which they guy tinted his hair red and everything lol....

I don't know but after watching a video of Morata at the LAX yesterday, he seems like a really really humble guy. What a change from Costa. Don't get me wrong I loved Costa every time he scored and did some of his shenanigans but he pissed me off with the twitter crap and how he behaved (China incident). It sucks that we lost Costa but hope Morata can fill that gap with time. I'm thrilled that we got Morata after the Lakaku ordeal, I was getting my brain ready for a season of Bentekes and Llorentes...

I have watched both Manchester United friendlies, and I have not been impressed at all with Lakaku. Seems slow, however that might change as he gets used to mous tactics. I hope he doesn't so I can have a field day in redcafe with their meltdowns

I don't think it is "professional" for him to come and say after a game that the club was not renewing him. Don't get me wrong, he has been a great player for the club but that right there is showing the class he has. Telling us, the fans, that Chelsea is not renewing him so we can whine about it? Grow a pair and go to another club, no one is bigger than the club. Time to move on... Next on line Ivanovic, Fabregas (Arsenal game means sh*t), Mikel (I think is pleasing the woman CEO on the sidelines).
