Not too annoyed here. We already have 2 strikers ahead of him (Probably be playing 4-3-3 now) and he will get game time. I think Ajax will be a very good place for him with a manager he trusts. I certainly don't object to him ironing out his game in a more forgiving league. Same as with Christensen and Musonda. As long as the loan improves them then no worries with me.

Just pay the money. If we had other targets too then I could understand budgeting but we have 2/3 targets and about 60/80m to spend. One will cost £15/20m and that leaves more then enough for Koulibaly.

It's still incredible that the back 4 is still the same as when Mourinho first joined the second time. His biggest mistake was neglecting the defence for as long as he did.

The way I see it, we still have £50/60m to spend on players. Just splash the cash for Koulibaly and then get a fullback dirt cheap (They are usually the cheapest position to fill). There is no need to budget when you only need 2 players.

Of course he has a say. He obviously wants some defenders and that is why we are targeting defenders. Why it's taking so long is anybodies guess.Transfers do take a while to complete sometimes. Just look at the Pogba and Stones deals. They took ages.

Surely Simeone is the best defensive manager? Atletico conceded 18 goals in the league last season. You could argue Pep is too. Bayern conceded around 20 in the league.

I thought it was a 4-3-3 with Oscar in midfield playing more box to box. It doesn't matter much though because both of those formations are very similar positionally and often times morph into each other depending on the managers instructions.

Mata doesn't fit at Chelsea right now. We struggle to control the midfield and often get overrun through the middle. There is nothing Mata can do to help that issue. I would rather we spent the money on a couple of defenders and another wide player then on a no.10
