I really want us to sign him. Move Azpilicueta to RB finally.

I think Conte means more of a no.10 then a striker but with a more box to box role then a traditional no.10 He said He wants him as as a striker when we attack and as a CM when we defend. Nothing wrong with that. It's up to Loftus-Cheek to play with the correct intensity and not let the game pass him by so much.

I can't believe for the second season in a row we are seeing the same exact situation as we saw last summer. Somebody must be held accountable.

One thing that should cheer people up, a common theme of Fergusons teams is that they started slowly and struggled through their opening ten games. In fact, they only really hit top form around January. I would much prefer us do that then go all guns blazing to begin with only to burn out when it matters.

He can't play as a lone striker in my opinion and we shouldn't play 4-4-2 as it doesn't get the best out of our other players.Fantastic win and great mentality to pull through despite the performance. Signings must be made both in defence and further forward. We are desperate for more creativity.

As great as it is that he is scoring, Costa has been poor both games and should be dropped.

All we deserve really. Half of this team should not be first team material. Costa absolutely pathetic holding the ball up. Weak.

Seems possibly feasible as well which is what is most exciting. Depends on whether we have/are willing to spend £200m in one transfer window.

Exact sort of signing we need this summer. A big name with loads of talent and potential who is a match winner. Without Hazard we sorely lack one compared to City and United (De Bruyne, Aguero, Silva for City and Pogba, Ibra, Martial and Mkhitaryan for United). Even Arsenal have a few more then we do (Ozil and Sanchez). Can't see it happening myself though.

There is a Chelsea supporters club nearby which is cheap. Costs a couple quid to get in but the booze is cheap as chips.

Worrying lack of any concrete moves from the club. Could end up with pie on our face like last year. 2 seasons in a row suggests inability from the back room team. Heads need to go if we don't move for the right players soon.

Would like Batshuayi for Costa. Costa was breaking down a lot of attacks with poor decisions and touches. He didn't hold the ball up well either and meant we never had somebody to link up with our other offensive players when we got near West Hams box. Batshuayi ia much better holding the ball up and I feel would offer more than Costa right now.

I can't remember the last time I watched Chelsea completely neutralise an opponents offensive game whilst retaining our own offense. Worst performance by far the ref. Oscar penalty wasn't given, Costa second yellow, Costa penalty at the end probably should have been and Carroll diving for the high foot which lead to their goal. Azpilicueta didn't even have his foot up. This is why I'm not a fan of the new rules. Referee'so have zero accountability and these types of sh*t show performances will become the norm now. We need a bit more precision offensively and still need defenders with more pace but a very promising start.

Brilliant. I don't think I have taken to a manager as quickly as this before.He is so honest and passionate whilst also having quite clearly a tougher and more aggressive side to him. I love it.

Think he will thrive under Conte's passion and intensity. May develop the same relationship as he had with Simeone

It's a load of tosh. Conte has repeatedly said about fighting for the title.Mourinho also will end up neglecting longevity because of his title claims. He did with us and he will with them. I suspect a similar end to his time with us.

He would take Oscars place as an attacking box to box midfielder. Depends on whether he trusts Oscar or not.
