Nathaniel Chalobah
Fantastic player, has it all really. Reminds me of Rijkaard a bit.

No complaints today. Great stepping stone for the rest of the season.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
The new formation is fitting us to a tee. Great switch from Conte.

Tammy Abraham
One thing he seems to have which our other prospects seem to be lacking is a fantastic mentality and drive to succeed. Only Musonda has shown that too in my opinion.

Tammy Abraham
2 goals today.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
The French league is absolute garbage and shows no bearing on a players ability. When Ben Arya is consistently great in a league, you know that the league doesn't have top players in it. First season he started great, lost form in the middle and then found it again in March/April. Second season he started picking up form in November and then droppedoff again towards the end (Injuries may have played a part in that). Third season was his best and most consistent. Last season was sh*t. This season is like his first two. Two great games, three bad ones.

Neymar who, in 2014/15, scored 39 goals and got 11 assists from a wide position and last year was Barcelona's best player when Messi was out at the beginning of the season. He is clearly a better and more effective player and his best season was better then Hazards best. Sure he is inconsistent but he is still more consistent then Hazard, who hasn't shown any consistency throughout his career (Bar maybe 2014/15 where Neymar was even more consistent).

I'm not trying to make him out to be sh*t. I'm just accepting the reality of the situation. Hazard isn't the player people want him to be and likely never will be. He is 25 now, entering his prime, and he isn't much better nor consinstant then he was when he first came to Chelsea at the age of 21/22. He isn't a guy you can rely on in my opinion and that's why I don't rate him in the tier below Messi and Ronaldo. Speaking of Which, there is no there below Messi and Ronaldo any more. Suarez is better then Ronaldo and Messi is clearly ahead. Then guys like Neymar, Aguero, De Bruyne, Lewandowski and maybe Bale are below them. All of these guys have outperformed Hazard for a few years now (Some not for 2014/15 but most have).

Ozil and Sanchez have Giroud and Walcott around them. Coutinho and Firmino have Henderson and Lallana. Last year De Bruyne and Aguero had Navas and a sh*t Sterling. Fact is Hazard isn't as good offensively as these guys (Not even getting started on the La Liga teams). He would not be the main man in either of these sides.

No he doesn't. This season we have dominated possession (Third highest in the league behind Liverpool and Manchester City) and have dominated territorialy (Around 30% of our play is in the attacking third, the same amount as Man City). Our problem is a lack of offensive threat, not a defensive mindset. Hazard is a big part of our attack being so poor as he isn't looking up to do something and link up with the other attackers. Of course we do need other better offensive players to go with him but Hazard is the reason our attack is so blunt not the other way around.

Willian
He was playing as a central player yesterday. Seems a much better fit for his attributes then as a winger where he is pretty ineffective. Rather Willian then Oscar. It wasn't a good performance either way. Hull completely deteriorated and his lack of a final ball or any decisive movement meant we still struggled to score.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
No he isn't. Suarez, Neymar, Bale, Lewandowski and even De Bruyne and Aguero are just better then him in most parts of football. They score and assist more, they have more world class performances, they have less invisible days, they are still affective when they aren't playing well and they actually change matches more consistently. Even Costa in our team is better then Hazard. He is certainly more important and pivotal to our attack.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Can we agree that he isn't a top players? Top players don't go missing for the periods that he does. When he isn't in best form he is absolutely ineffective and that for me means he isn't a good enough player to be the main man.

Hull Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 01/10/ 2016 KO 15:00 GMT
Need to be a lot better going forwards in the future. At least defensively we are looking more solid.

Thibaut Courtois
The best goalkeepers don't lose concentration. Lack of concentration for a keeper is like a striker not making any runs.

Tammy Abraham
What was the goal like?

Thibaut Courtois
That pisses me off. It does seem that a lot of lesser opponents are scoring goals from their first chance/half chance. Stats back that up.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
Ake was better then Ivanovic last season, still went out on loan. Musonda was better then Hazard and he still went on loan. Traore is outperforming Willian this year and yet Willian will still be a starter next season. We stick to the status quo rather then a meritocracy and wonder why we have an aging and crap team.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
This is the problem with loan players and why they don't make it here. We say they must be world class to come back into the team yet the players they are replacing are no where near world class. If they are better then their first team counterpart then they should be playing in Chelsea's first team. Christensen is and so he should be playing at Chelsea.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
Funny thing is our solutions are out on loan. Traore, Musonda, Christensen, Ake and even Baker coming in would fix a lot of the problems in the team.

Thorgan Hazard
He was fantastic for Werder Bremen too. His ability was quite clear to see and selling him was a mistake. The hindsight is Oscar turning our so sh*t. Didn't see that coming.
-
Thorgan Hazard
Was good tonight. He has a great record this season. 8 goals so far.
-
Willian
Outside of our box. When he wins the ball deep in his own half is the only time he takes players on.
-
Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
They do overlap, they just aren't comfortable doing so. Ivanovic isn't comfortable being too high up the pitch as he is too slow to get back. Azpilicueta doesn't like being on his left foot. Azpilicueta was really pushing up when moved to the right against Arsenal.
-
Willian
He does not beat his defender though. He receives the ball at his feet, faces his defender, does the weird shimmy before seemingly giving up on the thought of beating his man and playing it back to Ivanovic. The only time he beats his man is outside his own box where he actually uses his pace and agility to get past them after winning the ball. Everywhere inside the opponents half he doesn't seem willing to beat them. There have been so many times where he is one on one against his fullback and does a little shimmy before passing it back. Instead of drive at them he waits until the whole defence is set before 0's single it sideways/backwards. A big part of us looking useless in attack is his complete lack of offensive game.
