Really been a perfect signing, I don't know why you'd complain about a third goalkeeper. Let's look at him: He's tall, he's very experienced, he's been a regular for Dinamo Zagreb and played a lot of Champions League there too. What's his role: Third goalkeeper. I couldn't think of a better player for this position. I'm surprised he sits down on the stands, because he could surely be at least #2 elsewhere.

Maybe the golden generation is no golden generation after all. Don't get me wrong, some of those guys have a lot of quality, obviously led by Hazard and de Bruyne, but especially defensively, they are absolutely nothing special.

Never seen Alonso play, but Rodriguez is clearly the second best LB in the Bundesliga, even if he didn't have the strongest of all years in 15-16. His set pieces are spectacular still if he has a sh*t game. Would have really liked that signing but we can't have it all.
