  1. He is. Defies logic that he can have such an impact in central midfield the way he does. What composure too, for that goal. Beautifully taken.
  2. He'll probably win the African player of the year, and quite a few of those in years to come. Westbrom, Watford? That's actually quite funny (pardon my rudeness). Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton, Maybe even City or Arsenal if he keeps the level of consistency up and matures further. It's laughable how some make their judgements. In any case, opinions, opinions.
  3. Maybe. Maybe not. Remains to be seen Hardly got a chance, imho. Was still very young when here, and inexperienced, compared to Moses who's been playing from the youth setup here in this country. I wouldn't say Salah is the inferior player at this moment, at all. Another player who wasn't really given a proper shot to prove himself.
  4. Salah is doing very well at Roma and has pretty much been excellent on his loans. I wouldn't be surprised if someone buys him for 45-50million soon. We might even see him return to the prem again in not too long.
  5. True. My comment was in response to some of the strange ones above. Steady is alright, as long as the team is winning.
  6. Yes. This could be the season he gets 20+. System suiting him atm. Nice goal today. Needs to score a few more like that.
  7. Felt a bit sorry for Mourinho. Was probably thinking there was no need to have the fans rubbing it in... Maybe he was planning to be gracious and respectful in post match words and show his Appreciation for the fans, and having Conte riling everyone up when 4-0 down just genuinely got to him too much. No fault of Conte's of course. He just gets 'veriappi' when things are going well. Can't really restrain himself, nor should he! I'd still like to have things gracious between Chelsea and Mourinho. He's done far too much for things to be sour and bitter. Good luck to
  8. Baba, kenedy, Ake... There's a few there to give Alonso competition. I think Baba would have revelled in that wing back role. Shame he went on loan
  9. Not sure why everyone is raving about him. He seems decent. Nothing special - yet. There were a few times they went through the left too easily. I do like the fact he is good in the air, though. Okay-Good game, nothing amazing.
  10. Hopefully he doesn't get injured. Really motivated and looking hungry. Sprinting around at 90 mins. Always had a soft spot for him since his first season, mainly because of his strength, direct, style and goal threat. Good to see him flourishing finally.
  11. Would have been nice to see Fabtegas feature. Surely there's room for him somewhere in this system. Obviously not got the legs of a Pedro or a Willian, but him as one of those behind Costa? He's so good going forward, it's a shame to not see him playing. (Especially with that Ozil playing well and scoring for Arsenal!)
  12. Sure there are specific ways to go about it, but it isn't rocket science. Call it whatever fancy name you want, any 10 players can understand what collectively limiting space and time on the ball means. They've done it before. They're footballers. He seems to have given them very specific instructions which led to them to play timidly and make it very easy for both Arsenal and Liverpool.
