Is there a particular reason why you want an external hard drive? Portability? Have a laptop? If you are simply looking for expanded storage you are much better off just getting an internal hard drive. A 400GB Seagate SATA hard drive is down to about $120 or $130 these days. Almost 3.0 Gbps as compared to the wimpy 480 Mbps transfer of USB 2.0.

It's not just Italy, the French have had trouble recently too. PSG had a supporter killed in a clash with police and had to play a match behind closed doors I think. And somewhere else (Marseille? Rennes?) there was a case of a firefighter losing a couple fingers due to a flare thrown from the crowd.

Quite relieved I didn't pop on here and post about Henry was doing another of his famous disappearing acts in big matches....which was 100% true for the first 84 minutes of this match.

This game was very definitely shown in the USA. Philip, nothing has changed since the start of the season in August. There is no Premiership PPV in the USA this season at all. Setanta and FSC have split the Premiership between them. One channel gets 1st and 3rd picks of the day's matches to show, the other gets 2nd and 4th choice. I watched the game on Setanta just fine this morning (albeit via Tivo, I wanted to sleep in so I didn't watch it live). Setanta is only available on DirecTV. If you don't have DirecTV you'll have missed about half of Chelsea's matches this season.

4th gen iPod here....brilliant device despite being overpriced. Never even a hint of a problem with mine and I've used it at least 2 hours a day for about 2 years now. The iPhone is exclusive to Cingular over here, which is too bad. But I'm sure someone will manage to unlock it in short order so that it could be used on other GSM carriers. I think today Apple VPs said that no custom applications will be able to run on it, which is bad news for Unix geeks (OSX of course is basically BSD Unix with a pretty wrapping).

Pro Evo is simply a million miles ahead of FIFA in gameplay. If graphics and real club/player names are what float your boat, FIFA is probably better for that.
