  1. This is actually stupid, because Neto had a good game. Garnacho I wanted to give a chance but he genuinely is just stinking up the place. He literally cannot beat a man, struggles with any form of physical battle. I would still give Garnacho a chance under a coach like Iraola, but let's not kid anyone, he was sh*t once again on Sunday.
  2. I thought he was our best attacker on Sunday. Excellent cross. Great defensive work too. I get he is frustrating but he defo has done enough to stick around. He has put in several quality crosses this season which has not been finished. I personally prefer seeing him on the right than Palmer. Palmer recently seems to slow the game down way too much and defensively out on the right impacts us.
  3. This is honestly not true. Neto was our most dangerous player. I am not saying he had a quality game but he was not abysmal by any stretch. I would say he was better than Palmer. He was 100% better than Garnacho. Garnacho was terrible and lost the ball countless times. Neto did not. Put in at least two quality crosses and did not actually lose the ball much. But because people like to criticise they will say he was sh*t. Neto was not sh*t and in watching the game he was the only one who was actually providing some threat. Like I say, not saying Neto had a good game but thought he was actually decent. To draw similarities between his and Garnacho's is ridiculous.
  4. I am glad this did not go unnoticed. I thought he was excellent. Defensively was solid and made some crucial interceptions and what was impressive was his ability to bring the ball out defence and play.
  5. United will have Martinez and possible Maguire missing next week Saturday. Hopefully the honeymoon period for Carrick is over and this where we see a dip in form. We need to win at all costs. Lost, then getting top 5 seems hugely unlikely. We win, then suddenly United now are drawn into the race again. Need a big performance. Hopefully James is back too.
  6. Honestly, the excuses for his form needs to stop now. He has been sh*te for a while. He can't beat his man, easily outmuscled and just does not look anyway near a world class player. I am surprised the lack of criticism he has faced since Sunday. I find it crazy when people keep saying Palmer is going to want to leave soon for a team challenging for major honours. His form this season, which team will spend over £100m? I don't see it. He really needs to step up next week against United because he is meant to be our best player and to make things happen and we are not seeing much at all this season. Sunday was alarming of how off the pace he was.
  7. @Caps_Lock_King I think we can beat City without Enzo, yes. I would actually like to see a run of games were Palmer plays central and we have to out and out wingers. We have got capable stand ins and I think sometimes the best away to get at City is to attack them with pace. So yes, I think we still can beat City without him.
  8. Sky SportsEnzo Fernandez: Chelsea drop midfielder for Port Vale and...Enzo Fernandez will not play for Chelsea in FA Cup quarter-final against Port Vale or Premier League match against Manchester City; Fernandez has been linked with Real Madrid and cast doubt on his CheWould not have played today anyway, however dropping him next week is a big call and is right the call. Especially being current captain whilst James is out.
  9. Palmer is actually a worry man. He was at fault for the goal. None of the England players tonight can cover themselves in glory but for someone who is considered the headline name in that team, you expect a bit more, considering his place in the squad is not guaranteed. He has been fit for a while too but still yet to show his true outstanding quality. Also huge conundrum as to where to fit him in. When he plays out wide for us, his lack of pace has been a huge problem recently. Lacks the guile and quick instinct he used to have.
  10. What an embarrassment. I know we would lose before the game but to see the lack off effort and fight was inexcusable. Everyone should hold their heads in shame. Palmer also is worrying me. I am not sure where is best position is and there are many games this season now where he just looks ordinary. For a player of his quality, you should be expecting him to rip fear into the opposition. He makes the odd nice pass but his guile, ability to beat a man has just disappeared. Our fixtures are not good. I think even Newcastle may finish above us at this rate. Shambolic. Every fan that attended that game deserves a refund.
  11. That half is exactly how most of us thought it would go. Needless passing. No cutting edge. I say take Lavia off and put Enzo in the double pivot. Bring Estevao on because Palmer oout wide, this game is not working. Shocking performance again...
  12. Our lack of discipline is ridiculous. Already picked up 2 cards. I would just take off Fofana. We already saw what happened against Burnley when he was on a yellow and up against a pacey line, if he gets it wrong one more time, it will be de javu.
  13. A mix of frustration and anger. Was never a 5-2 game. We had many occasions where we could scored a few and then a crazy last 10 minutes completely changed the game. I struggle to see how we overturn it. Not because we need to just make up 3 goals. We have seen it happen in the past, however more to do that we now play a tough game on Saturday whilst PSG have a whole week off, due to Ligue 1 postponing their upcoming fixture. To the game, thought Neto was very good. Caused a lot of problems. Enzo played well too. Team did in general. What annoyed me was the subs. Another game where Rosenior made subs to kind of preserve what we had and it ended up backfiring. I thought Garnacho should have come on earlier, with how stretched the game was. We were causing them issues out wide and on that big pitch, this is the type of game Garnacho could have made a real impact. Really frustrating because the scoreline suggests we got Spurs'd but we never. Just lapses in concentration. Keeper hugely at fault but is it their fault when the manager constantly keeps implying on playing out from the back. Stick with your philosophy, however sometimes respect the opposition.
  14. Perfect example of what a run of games does to boost a player's confidence and form. He has come along way. Held his own against Saka. Apart from being skinned by Bailey for the first goal, he recovered really well and was really solid. Is improving his overall attacking play too.
  15. Scores with his left, scores with his right, scores with his head and assists. Pretty much, the perfect all round striker. Was a but underwhelmed when we signed him initially but boy, is he class.
  16. Yes, the high line Villa played suited him, however still have to give him his plaudits. Caused Cash and co a lot of problems. Was a constant threat and outlet for us. Glad he got his assist, but would of been the icing on the cake if he scored a goal and could have easily had 2. Especially the last one, should have buried that. Either way, good way to perform because when you have been out the team for a while, he could have easily been low on confidence an failed to make an impact, however he did.
  17. Lose this and can all but say “good bye to our Champions League” hopes. Win, then great but cannot lose. Draw not ideal too but not out the picture with a draw. Thanks God Villa lost to Wolves as we can catch them and they have been off form. Wednesday will be very interesting.
  18. Absolute idiot. Cost us the game. I was literally screaming whilst watching the game “do not slide” and he did that. Why would you slide when Martinelli was not necessarily getting away from you. Stupid. Seems our players want to take it in turns to decide whose dumb and dumber.
  19. Rosenior taking off Neto at the end was stupid imo. When playing with 10 men always smart to have a player with pace as your outlet. He took him off and we had no width. I think Enzo should have came off at that point. Damaging result. Next week I expect that Liverpool will beat us as I don't see us getting anything from Arsenal. This is our next fixtures: Arsenal (A), Villa (A), Newcastle (H), Everton (A), City (H), United (H). All extremely tough games and defo will be some dropped points there. Liverpool have West Ham (H), Wolves (A) and Spurs (H) next. Football is not paid on paper but Liverpool will fancy winning all those fixtures. Painful.
  20. Why does Estevao have so many games where he keeps going missing. It is really frustrating!! Several games where he is absent from squad.
  21. You have egg on your face. Why are you looking for a negative from a positive night for the club and player. You are a hater and tonight proves it. Enjoy the egg again
  22. Welcome to one of the most bitter supporters we have. Spent all game sh*t talking him and when he scores a hattrick, just a little sarcastic comment to say, "Neto finding his level". No matter what people say, going to a team away in the Championship chasing promotion is not no easy feat. Give praise when it is due rather than silly belittling comments. 'Supporters' like this are the worst. If Neto had not scored, this so called 'supporter' would have spent time just trash talking him and making his silly jokes now when he does shut him up today, he gives him a disguised praise. I am not pretending Neto is world class. He isn't and he is frustrating but this is the one person who spends time trolling and posting the same old stuff about him. I think it is obvious by the comments even after he scores a hattrick, that this guy rather sees Neto fail than succeed. The worst kind.
  23. Well played Neto. Hattrick. You will still get clowns in here who won't give him credit and talk crap. Can only beat what is front of you. Delap, wish he had a goal, but did a lot better second half. 2 assists. Garnacho showed nice couple skills but really needs to bulk up. His lack of physical strength is alarming. Anyway nice way to start the weekend. Well played and a clean sheet!
