  1. Physically? He is 6ft 2... If you mean football ability, then that is another thing but for me just shows where we currently at when we had a player loaned to Sunderland who was a back up player to then leading the line against the team we loaned them to who was not starting for them... don't think I have seen that. He was good in his previous 2 appearances but still.
  2. Hope Gittens can get a goal second half. Would also be nice to Garnacho come off the bench and score also. Not going to get a better chance than tonight. Take Tosin off too I would say, just as he in on a yellow.
  3. Amazing that Buonanotte was able to continue. Shocking challenge which was a leg breaker. Get to at least 3 goals and take Caicedo off second half please.
  4. WOW. Fantastic second half. Credit to Maresca for not f**king about at half time and immediately making changes. They made a huge difference. Acheampong, top class. James quality. Neto, another top performance. They gave James MOTM, but I would have prob given to Neto. He was fantastic all game. Only downsides was Garnacho was really poor and he deserved to get hook. Gusto picked up a stupid second yellow which was really stupid to do when we already had game sealed and with injures we have, it doesn't help. I was screaming out for Maresca to take off Gusto also. When Tosin came on, why did he take of Josh? Gusto should have come and now he is suspended ffs. Really annoying. But big, big win. When I saw lineup I was a bit worried as this is the youngest PL line up in the PL this season. The boys did well. Even we rode our luck a little first half. One thing for sure. No one can call us Palmer FC!
  5. What a talent! Amazing performance. Another coming of age performance and a goal to top it off 👏
  6. Nope. Our 2-0 victory against Fulham earlier in the season was a 12:30 kick off also.
  7. I always thought the flack he got was OTT. Before he injury, he had a solid start with us, when he joined. He has lapses in concentration, however is no way near as bad as made out. He is very good on the ball and breaking the lines. Got a decent amount of pace too. Hope the injury was a minor one and he is back after the international break. If so, would be happy to see him in the team again. Would be deserved.
  8. Yep, but I guess that was a game where people felt we had more onus to win the game as Liverpool were on 'holiday mode' as well as resting some players too. This game, we had several injuries and played a team, who apart from Allison, had a fully fit team, so in the circumstances, yes probably would agree.
  9. Not that we would have gone in for him anyway, but he signed a contract extension before the window even started which was surprising, but I suspect two things, that one it came with a heavy wage increase and also a hidden release clause that will become available in the summer, otherwise I would not see him agreeing to a contract extension. Either way, we should be all over him for Summer because he is top class.
  10. Are you going to come and say you are sorry for this comment. If there was ever a football comment which deserved a ban, it is this one..
  11. Chelsea 1-0 Benfica: Where does Caicedo rank?Sky Sports' Lewis Jones: "This was far from a classic but Enzo Maresca will not care. Chelsea are up and running in the Champions League but they need to improve in terms of their functionality. There's a lack of balance in this team at the moment. Saying that, they probably have the best defensive midfielder in world football in Moises Caicedo. "He won the most duels of any player on the pitch (10), made the most tackles (8) and created the joint-most chances (2). "He was a monster in that area, yet again." Just your standard Caicedo performance again... https://www.skysports.com/football/live-blog/11668/13025497/chelsea-transfer-news-rumours-and-gossip-live-updates-and-latest-on-deals-signings-loans-and-contracts @Gol15 I am sure you are one of those who voted he isn't the best no.6 in the world..
  12. Badiashile has looked good, considering he has not played properly for months.
  13. What a stupid yellow Enzo picked up there. Needless.
  14. Lol, 'even Scholes said', like his opinion bares any matteer. How about look how many praise he gets from other pundits. What a ridiculous comment, because Scholes says that means there is much truth in it. Mail OnlineFans rip into Paul Scholes over Moises Caicedo analysisAs the curtain closes on the 2024-25 campaign, many fans have taken the time to reflect on who were the standout performers for their respective sides.Hence why his comments was laughed at by many people. Caicedo already has the most interceptions and tackles in the league and has chipped in with couple goals already. I say he is our most important player.
  15. Wow. Did not realise this. That is infuriating. I think the Pope decision was the right one, but yeah the two are very similar, so if that is case, why was Sanchez sent off. Just seems selective this VAR. No consistency.
  16. I said from beginning of the season, Arsenal will win the league. Liverpool I think struggle in January when AFCON is on. Arsenal won the game late, but even over 90 mins they were the better team and looked good. Liverpool, I don't think win that game at SJP earlier in season if Gordon was not sent off. Their depth is really good too. I think come end of season, they will win the league comfortably. Hate to say it.
  17. Pope got a touch on the ball, which is difference. More debatable is how did Collins for Brentford not get sent off and what was VAR's reasoning.
  18. It is really concerning, how easily we let our guard down when we go to 10 men. This is where the lack of leadership and experience is shown. The team just loses their heads. Chalobah should have just let him go as there is no guarantee the player scores on a one on one and even if, I prefer they score and we have 11 men rather than have a man less and defend a lead with a man disadvantage for 30 mins. Concerning, but not going to jump the gun yet, as the last 2 games, the game has been taken out of our hands with silly decisions from keeper and defender. We looked good up until Chalobah got sent off. Liverpool are top of the league, but I think we can take something if we keep 11 men on the pitch!! Big game against Benfica first on Tuesday. Team needs a reaction. So frustrating the way we have thrown the last 2 league games away. Part and parcel of being a Chelsea fan I guess.
  19. Are you being for real?
  20. STATS replied to azpi28's topic in General Chelsea FC
Haven’t seen anything about that. In the training pics yesterday, he was part of the group judging by the pictures. He is at the back, so hopefully that is a false rumour.
  21. Sky SportsJoao Pedro interview: Chelsea forward on his position, Ro...Joao Pedro has proved to be an inspired signing for Chelsea; he spoke to Sky Sports to discuss his evolution into one of the Premier Leagues top attackers; watch Man Utd vs Chelsea live on Sky Sports
  22. And, even in that game, he still managed to grab an assist.
  23. Fofana was brilliant second half. Stood up like a real leader.
