  1. Personally I'd bring on Cheese and busicuits with 10 mins to go, followed by coffee and super sub 'complementary chocolate' - another Belgian obviously!
  2. Trust a Scott to be first to the bar
  3. So where do we go from here? My real answer - the pub, until the whole sorry f*cking thing is over, and we have a bit of our club and self-respecting pride back! I'm buying!
  4. I honestly thought this was the bigger picture, with RDM gaining this year as a bonus for winning 2 trophies last year
  5. When City were singing Champions of England, we couldn't even sing back Champions of Europe because the crowd were so split and the atmosphere so disjointed and splintered. I honestly couldn't be bothered, with the game as soon as I saw captain pugwash appear from our dugout, barking instructions to players, his silly, nonsensical pointing followed by the thumbs up as he returns to the bench (truely, truely demoralising) Then watching our very own goal-shy Lindsay Lohan, continue the spiral into decent realising she/he is no longer the child starlet they once were. - Has our club really come to this in the space of a fortnight, ironically since we played Liverpool?!?! After abouit 30 mins I'd had enough, and the only thing keeping my spirits up was the promise of a roast dinner round my mums after the game, the only suprise is I didn't leave sooner to tuck into it! I didn't enjoy the experience one bit! But the dinner was lovely, bar the talking point, which of course was Chelsea!
  6. Hopefully he will change........ clubs
  7. Pic taken yesterday: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2238173/Chelsea-captain-John-Terry-trains-wearing-Roberto-di-Matteos-No-16-Manchester-City-clash.html
  8. made a note to watch him yesterday. For approx 10 min during the 2nd half - he never made a run, tried to lose his marker, and twice when Chelsea were in posession, he hid!!!! He literally run behind company and made himself unavailable. The fella is and embarassment! Sometimes your forward has to be the difference, the one who wins you the game. In 2 years Nando is no where near it!!! Drogba on the other hand won back to back titles in his first 2 years and a leauge cup! (and dont say Torees really played any helping hand in last years trophies, he was a bit part player at best - and they were the only trophies he's ever won during his career!)
  9. It alright - he's worked it all out already http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2237425/Rafael-Benitez-Chelsea-faults-obvious-expect-win-Manchester-City-Rafa.html
  10. How many winning FA cup final gaols has Roman scored? case closed!
  11. blimey - someone else has nicked it! I feel like Burt Bacharach should be sung more often! IMHO.
  12. Ironically THAT goal, was 15 years ago, and was the start of the most successful 15 years in the clubs history, coming full cirle with a Eurpoean Champions League win, with Robbie at the helm, finishing off what he started.
  13. totally understand mate and feel the same.
  14. The first scouser ever to count to 15!
  15. How about: Rafa's gotta brand new badge
  16. the bolke on the bench has a strange growth on his head
  17. right.........whos taking it to the bridge?
  18. It articles like that, that make his appointment even more unbelievable
  19. Bates didn't appoint someone who had a dig at the Chelsea fans! When he was interested in george Graham, at least he listened to the supporters!!
  20. Great post Chippy. I have had many an arguement with you especially over Avram, but to be fair he was on a hiding to nothing following Jose though the door. For you to say you cannot get behind the new manager, given your track record, of level headed fairness, is a statement in itself, and paints a genuine picture of what we have on our hands. If one of the more diplomatic posters on this forum cannot come to terms with this appointment, then it must go some way to show the general concenus. I know you don't speak for everyone but you have always been reasonable and more rational when it comes to new appointments and giving someone a chance. The more I rest on this, as each day passes, I give it time, I think I will come to terms with it, but I can't, I just can't and quite franklly I don't want to! I guess I'm fickle and unforgiving when it comes to Rafa
  21. After his comments he'll never be 'one of us' - and never will be
  22. Feel exactly the same. The cluib is being stripped away from its real supporters more and more.
